2005-2009 was an incredible time in R&B. And this was one of those classics that led the way. It was definitely a new/innovative era.. Usher and Alicia Keys Owned 2004 so there really wasn't alot of fresh faces that year. But 2005 though? Amerie, Mario, Omarion, T-Pain, Pretty Ricky, Jamie Foxx, Bobby V, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo, and last but not least Chris Brown all had incredible, and new shining moments which still carries on today. And this is just 2005 ALONE R&B is dead now, just like hip hop, but still, the 2000s were great times. I would say 2000-2004 was an incredible era for "2000s" Hip-Hop while 2005-2009 was a high time for r&b...
