Put the blade behind you when digging far away like you are doing. It makes the machine rock-solid stable. The exact opposite when digging up close to the machine, put the blade in front to keep the machine from tipping forward.

Scott that we Bob cat could be us full for so much work with the right attachments. Sickle knife for hedge cutting and a rake bucket come to mind

I have been looking into attachments for it recently. I have seen excavators with flails on.

@@scottellwoodgardening287 u need the hydronic flow for the flayes. U would need to try on the machine before buying. I have a 4 ton machine used for just digging and raking as it has no pipes for attachments.

I do on one contract and yes it’s got the reach for a single depth 4foot graves which is all we do in that cemetery. It wouldn’t do a double depth 6 foot one though.

do you have to have a citb to operate that digger ?

You don’t need a ticket by law but most building sites do ask for them. On small jobs like domestic etc you can therefore use without.

Hi Glyn, I will get a video. We only dig graves on one contract but next time I will film it. When I started I used to dig by hand but now it’s good to have this machine. We only do single depth which is good as this machine only reaches down so far. It wouldn’t have reach for double depth graves.

11hrs in 12 months, must have been a tax saving purchase 😂 Seriously tho did you trial any others before buying as looking at getting one but not sure Kubota or Bobcat etc 👍

Tax saving. Don’t know what you mean 😂I didn’t try any other as friends have these and I liked them after I had a use of one.
