Bobcat Hydraulic Repair 2

We continue repairs on my Bobcat 763 Bucket Positioning valve by removing the rusty plate that cause the damage.

I have an issue with my bobcat 632 not driving. Bucket works slow and tilts. But no drive.

Bring part to a sheet metal shop and have it made there out of aluminum. Will not rust r rot either. I worked for Danbury Sheet Metal, many years ago (not sure if still there). Or Any sheet metal shop. It won't b too expensive. And u will never replace it again. Warm 1 today, down here in Florida. 81... nice.

Have a T 190 ongoing issue with bogging down . Replaced final drives rebuilt pumps...not happy with Bobcat anymore.Old Bobcats good. Not new ones. Alot of issues.

I feel that way about most mechanical things...especially cars.

Heck of a lot of faff to get that all out.... nice to know that you've made the sensible choice and replaced the bad stuff ... not sure if it's all done yet but I'd consider having the replacement galvanised or give it the zinc passivated treatment ... should last a LOT longer! Thanks for sharing... skip the added in cheering ... I did that bit myself ... ;o)

***** Ahhh that explains a few things... Indoor storage would be a plus... but at the end of the day we work hard with what we've got and maybe one day the storage solution will be a possibility... I think we could all do with more storage space!

I have a 453 bobcat that’s has a hydraulic leak into the change box. Not sure what’s causing this

new high tech stuff not good when it gets past 15years old alot of components fail. Not like a 1980 Bobcat with just a key switch.

No doubt, i'm in the process of converting mine to just a few wires & switches... and it has way more electronics-safety's-etc. than this one. PMC went up in smoke was the last straw and tired of the bullshit electronics. I'm in the middle of said project but currently have the ol hag running and moving around again. :)

Why not leave the shroud in place and fabricate a piece that could be welded to the non rusty part. It looks ok except for the rusty top
