+The Hamlin Woodshop really? I thought i was the only one that i knew of having this issue! Its good to know it got really annoying after a while slamming the bar down. Its been a few months and it works perfect. Im glad and hope the video helped a bit!

Can u bypass the sensor by tying the 2 wires together

Thanks for your informative video. My 763 is currently stuck on the hill, unable to release the brake to move forward or backward. The magnetic sensor could be a source of the problem. However, in my case, I am able to move the bucket in height and angle without any difficulty. Only the tires are stuck. Could it be the same problem of the magnetic sensor or something else?

On that bobcat is there green button that unlocks the traction for the drive pumps? When you press that are you hearing any clicks of that unlocking? It could be that sensor as well if you look at it is it worn on any of the sides or looks damaged? I could ask my bobcat guy on monday if you haven't figured the issue out yet.

@@JeffLepard : Thanks for your advice. Yes my Bobcat 763 has a green button to unlock, and I usually hear a click when I push the button, then I can proceed to operate the machine. I am not sure at this point if this unlocking click applies to the whole machine or the bucket movement is independent. When I get back to where the Bobcat is left, I will check if any of the switch mechanism tied to the safety bar may be worn out. If the plastic piece (s) are worn out, I will insert a shim, then lower the bar. In any event, I will let you know how my problem would be resolved one way or the other. Thanks again.

Hopefully you were able to get that going. That would be a great video if you knew exactly what the problem was.

Hey Jeff, out of the blue the bucket on my 463 wont lift or tilt. Light comes on when the bar is down and it drives fine but the bucket does not operate. Does it sound like the sensor needs to be replaced like you did here? I just bought it used from the dealer. Nothing major should be wrong with it mechanically.. I'm stumped.

It could be that check if you can see any part worn down on the sensor or see if it is spinning or loose. That's where I would start with.
