@KingsOutdoorLife10 ай бұрын
What happens when you pull up on the little red knob on the right?
@djames10th10 ай бұрын
The unit would shutoff. I finally got it working. I had to rotate the blades and move the belts around. I’m guessing the mower had been setting for a while and the belts were stuck which tripped or shutdown the unit when red button was pulled. Either way it’s working now. Right before I was going take in to the spot in the morning. lol. Thanks for your reply.

The hydros are serviceable. Couple filters and some 20w/50. Good idea to change it at the start of the season and mid season plus the engine oil / filter as well as grease. Silicone spray the tires often to protect them. Change the valve stem cores yearly also. As winter can make them leak. just advice to help keep it going .

how you like it so far? I ordered one but the wait is killing me.
@rickershomesteadahobbyfarm32913 жыл бұрын
@@b.d.4229 I like it so far. I had a little trouble learning how to control it. I have a food forest and I hit a couple of trees, a blue berry bush, and the grape trellis lol. I practiced cutting around my cedar trees before I went around my fruit trees. I also drove it around for about 20 minutes or so to get the feel of it before I ever I engaged the blades. It runs good and cuts fast. I even cut one of my trails with it in the woods. I hit a small branch that I missed when I walked through to pick up any mess that I didn’t want to run over. It chewed that stick up and spit it out like it was nothing. I have nerve damage and vibrations lite my nerves up. Most mowers bother me pretty bad so my wife has to do most of the mowing but the vibrations weren’t to bad on this mower. I had a little discomfort but I was able to finish cutting. Hopefully it doesn’t start vibrating more as it gets older bc I don’t want my wife to have to start cutting the grass again. So far I like it and hopefully it lasts a long time.

If possible could you measure the bolt spacing on the back where you add a hitch? I ordered a 42inch and I wanna be able to tow around my dethatcher. I'd like to order a hitch plate and wanna make sure I get the correct bolt spacing even though most are universal. Dealer couldn't find a factory plate so aftermarket it is I guess

Can I trouble you to measure the distance between the front castor arms? I found a front mount dethatcher but I can't order the mount without the dimension and im still waiting for my 2000 to be delivered. If you're interested in doing this take an inside measurement from the tightest point and the largest point (cause they are angled) Thanks in advance and if you're too busy thats cool too haha.
@KingsOutdoorLife3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, working out of town a couple days. You might ought to wait or put your hands on one before you order, but it’s 17.5” where the deck bolts on 26.5” where the castor arms meet the square tubing that goes across the front and then 33” at their widest point.
@b.d.42293 жыл бұрын
@@KingsOutdoorLife why would you suggest waiting? Because of the long wait for the mower, I'm trying to get my ducks in a row for fall detaching and overseed. I could rent a machine again but I feel like thats a waste of money when I could just throw it towards buying a dethatcher. I'm curious about your concerns though. Maybe I'm missing something.

I just went and measured it. It’s just over 53” outside to outside so I believe it’s a true 52” cut. Let me know how it goes and hit that sub button.
