If you haven't seen the 'making of' video, it's worth noting that the AI used was only to separate out John's voice from the piano and background noise of his original home tape recording, so that the others could add their own, natural voices to John's, along with new instrumentation. It's all real, none of it is computer generated. As is the video, using technology only to meld old with new (now and then) from actual archival footage - none of it is fake/ CGI. 🙂

I'm one of the biggest Beatles fans ever. I watched them regularly in the lunchtime sessions at The Cavern when it was John, Paul, George and Pete.......I was 15 at the time. I saw them live a total of 68 times and they were at their best in The Cavern days.....raw and fresh. I was there the day Brian Epstein came to see them and there when Ringo appeared with them for the first time. Now I'm 78, still living in Liverpool and love the boys til the day I move off this mortal coil. I'm one of the very few who can say I've been there from start to finish. Love from Liddypool ❤

It's just the way the video ends that it fades, but I am still watching. I always watch until the the videos end. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though.

It's Paul's love letter to his long time brother John who was gone too early. It was such a shock when John was killed here in NYC. It is the end of the Beatles. The ending is symbolic. The song ends and The Beatles logo appears at the end. They bow like they always did. Then the scene fades & it's just the sign.🎸

I was born a year before the Sgt. Pepper album; I read an old rock magazine about the impact that said album had done to the fans and the music industry. Crítics could't make any sense of it but fans adored it, and that is just a bit of what the Beatles did wholly!!

This song & video gives me such nostalgic vibes. I grew up with the Beatles music as a young girl. This also makes me a little sad since John & George are no longer with us (John was murdered in 1980 & George died of cancer in 2001). But I like the video showing them all together. I am sure Paul & Ringo loved doing this tribute & it must have brought back a lot of fond memories for them. The Beatles had a great sense of humor that is shown by some of the flashbacks & like seeing the costumes from Sgt. Pepper's album.

Sad back story: Musician died of cancer before learning she played on last Beatles song. Violist Caroline Buckman was among the musicians invited by Paul McCartney to participate in a secretive Los Angeles recording session in 2022, unaware it was for the final Beatles song to be released 18 months later, titled Now and Then. Her family said she would have been delighted and ecstatic had she known. she was only about 49 years old.

I was 9-years-old when The Beatles first appeared on The Ed Sullivan show, February 9, 1964 -- their first national exposure in the US. On that date, Ringo & John were 23, Paul, 21, & George, 20 (2 weeks shy of 21) - that's how VERY young they really were!!! I LOVED them immediately, feelings that never waned, & they have been the most prominent & beloved band on the soundtrack of my life ever since. Naturally, I was eagerly awaiting Now And Then, & I heard it on the radio the day it was released. I liked it, & fully appreciated it for what it is. The next day, I watched the video. WOW!!!!! I had goosebumps & tears all at once . . . what a powerful, heartfelt video, accentuating phenomenally poignant lyrics in the context they were used. Just beautifully done. Stunned by how emotional it is. And I absolutely LOVE the song!!! Everyone should watch the video & love it, too!!! BTW, Bob - you stopped it too soon & missed the last few, VERY poignant seconds!! Go back & see what you missed. Without a doubt, the absolute best music video I've ever seen in all the years of music videos!!!!! A true masterpiece!!! Facts everyone should know -- John Lennon, who wrote this song & is singing lead, was murdered in NYC on Dec 8, 1980, 10 years after The Beatles broke up. He was 40 years old. George Harrison laid down some guitar work to this song in 1995, which is used. Sadly, he died of cancer on Nov 29, 2001, age 58. Ringo Starr (now 83), the drummer, & Paul McCartney (81) playing his iconic Hofner bass, are alive & well & still delighting audiences with their wonderful music!!!!! The history of The Beatles, & how their empire was built, & why they are still so very popular, is a story every music fan should know!! Everyone in every generation should listen to their extensive & incredibly entertaining catalogue & learn their stories, & find out how 4 young lads from Liverpool, England changed the world!!! Then watch this video again & understand how truly stellar it is!!! This short film perfectly explains how this new Beatles song came to be. Very interesting, & very enjoyable!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4GtcoSliKiqq6Mo

The Beatles' earlier pop singles may not seem very 'rebellious' or exciting now, but I can assure you they are by no means a spent force. Countless young reactors here on YT are still having their minds blown by the Beatles' later albums, from when they called a halt, mid-career, to the constant pressures and hype of touring, and spent time focusing instead on developing their music in the studio. A lot of people say they 'know the Beatles sound' from hearing those earlier hits, and are then gobsmacked when they are exposed to the diversity and creativity that evolved later in such album tracks as A Day in the Life, Tomorrow Never Knows, Helter Skelter, Oh Darling and many others. If you've forgotten these, or never paid them close attention as a child I'd strongly suggest you revisit them as an adult, and maybe play some to your students - you might be surprised! All the albums from Revolver onward are well worth a listen, and then there's the whole of Side Two of Abbey Road, too, of course - in my opinion their masterwork; the culmination and high point of their recording career.. These are genius level talents - modern day Mozarts - that IMO no other band has matched before or since. People will still be discovering them and drawing inspiration for their own music hundreds of years from now, long after the vast majority of today's over-commodified, auto-tuned popular music is forgotten.. :-D

Basically AI was used for the video not so much the audio. Whatever Peter Jackson came up with to do Lord Of The Rings, they utilized that technology to separate John's vocal from his piano demo. Yeah they tweaked his voice with a little reverb like any producer would do but very little pitch correction.
@patticrichton11357 ай бұрын
@davidrauh8118 in the video, there is nothing that was "Artificially" created. The Young John, George, Paul and Ringo are taken from their 3 different videos made in 1967 for their song "HELLO GOODBYE" mostly from the outtakes of those 3 videos. It's REALLY them in 1976, in 1995, and then, of course, Paul and Ringo currently. The process of inserting the 1967 John and George with Paul and RIngo where they are all standing together in a line, and then with Young Paul and George, on either side of "present day" Paul, Young Ringo playing drums along side of his current self, and all FOUR 1967 Beatles behind "present day" Paul, had nothing to do with artificial intelligence. It's a process that has been used for many many years now in movies, and TV programs.

Tough one for me. Due to being overseas when the Beatles hit the music market, I have never had much interest in them. I have always given them accolades in the ability to move from basically a 4 chord band to near symphonic songs, but I've never owned an album by them, and generally would seek out other groups on the radio. Add in that I also did not enjoy much by Harrison when he went solo, and, well overall this song just is one I'll quickly forget. I'd like to generate the enthusiasm Bob has, and I could probably praise a drum fill or chord, and as mentioned, I recognize the influence they had on both music and society, but for me they were far below layers of Yes, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. But Ringo was cool in Caveman, lol!

Emma is, therefore, dependent on two feeding pumps, essential lifelines providing her food, so she created her own foundation called Gastrostars to raise funds to investigate this disease....Unfortunately the original video does not have English subtitles, but I am sure that will not be a problem for you to appreciate this gem of an interpretation....And if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Very important: The video begins with Maestro André making a short introduction to the audience of who Emma Kok is, so please don't miss that introduction because it is very important to understand the context and the incredible story of this extraordinary young singer...Here is the link of the official video:...kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZWsmaRnqcdredEsi=8VlaeZhVgrUNG4t7
