Super helpful and great timing! I’ll get to fixing mine once I can wire an antenna to test the speaker output, but then I can use this to fix the stereo on my 1986 300zx

Can I send my radio to your shop for repairs?

Great video that is very helpful. Is that fuse slot on the back actually used? I tried to insert a fuse in it and it would not stay inserted and looking closely at the fuse opening it looks like there is nothing to make contact and hold the fuse contacts. I will contact you as I am restoring a low mile 300ZX and want to keep everything stock and need to get my Bose unit working again.

Hope you can do a video on 1988-1996 factory Jeep Mitsubishi RX-170 and later type AM/FM Cassette Players real soon because I have a stack of radios that need repairing. The model numbers are 56002467, 3021, 3019 and 9004. Have already swapped out the tape modules in two 2467 cases so I have one good tape player in the Jeep so far. It would be good to have some backups on standby. There are a few issues with the players like either the left or right channel going out, the volume knob maxed out but still in need of a little more volume, one player makes a high squeal with no AM/FM reception and on many players the tape mechanisms will not draw the tape in on its own. You have to literally push the tape in and you can hear the motor running that supposed to draw in the tape then you have to pull the tape out with needle nose pliers. The 2467 and 9004 tape modules are held in place by four screws. The 3021&19 seem to be fixed in place. I didn`t mention a 7214 because I haven`t tried one but those are also the four-screw type.

My GF pulled on the Cassette-to-AUX adaptor I use in this tape deck and now the cassette jams and doesn’t play music from our phone. Would anyone know the fix to this issue. The adaptor works fine, so the issue lies within the tape deck unit.
