I met Bob Marley on 19 September 1980 in New York City at Madison Square Garden, when my friend sent a poem I wrote with his lyrics and he wanted to meet me. Probably one of the best day of my life!

Something's are hard to contextualize. Bob died aged only 36 years only. Yet 41 years later he's still a legend. Nobody, has outdone him in reggae songs. He was truly sent from above. Rest in power Bob.

My favorite Marley song is No woman, No cry! Bob was sent from heaven to bless the world with his anointed talent and make a timeless musical impact that transcends race, religions, politics, cultures, ethnicities, and age. He and his music connect and unite the world in one love. His children, even from different mothers, live out his amazing legacy as one family. Bob once said he's African first, then Jamaican, but he belongs to the universe. His critics are ignored by the millions of fans. Too bad his own father didn't want to get to know him.

I knew and had my life changed by a very special man, who brought Bob into my and my family's lives, and then he became family to us, my stepfather. He was special like Bob. He wanted to spread the love and make all of us one big Rasta world, not necessarily literally but just in spirit. Sharing and connecting. I understand what you mean by "sent from heaven". Like Bob, he was taken young, far too soon.

Conocí a Bob Marley por la radio, recuerdo que trabajaba haciendo la limpieza en una oficina y sonaba esta canción. Era un momento difícil de mi vida donde criaba sola a mis tres hijos pequeños y desde la radio Bob me decía " No woman no cry" "everything is gonna be allright". Fue un momento mágico y alentador. Hoy tengo 60 años, hijos adultos ya y siempre recuerdo ese momento. Agradezco haberlo conocido a el y su maravillosa música.

It's my first time seeing this country, and I came to like Bob Marley through one-love songs. I was so touched. This world is called war. The proverb says that heaven only takes good people. I suspect this version was after causing Rita some new heartbreak. He was trying to express his most profound apology to her here. He takes his time to start, he goes over to put his arm around her and sing to her at one point. Also he called her "sister" at points along the way. He seems to linger on the words here, incl the word sister. The more I learn about Queen Rita, the more I want her to have ALL her flowers while she is here to receive them. She deserves EVERY LAST ONE.❤

Because he lived what he wrote! Only the greats reach those heights because of their truth! This man, Peter Tosh and Bunny lived a hard life! Rejected, Robbed, Humiliated, Used! My Mum and Dad loved him. I love him too. He brings us hope and happiness from beyond the grave. 43 years later and he still spreads the message of joy. One of the last items i have from my Dad after he passed away is a record of exodus. An old vinyl. Just like to think that is away that my Dad wanted to let me know to be happy. Silly, yeah. But i nice thought to have. Bob Marley died 7 years before i was born, and he stayed relevant throughout my life. Long live his message ti the world.

Dear Marley Estate, I am a huge Bob Marley fan. I love to collect Marley memorabilia. Vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, and more. Every time I listen to “Live!” and “Babylon By Bus”, I always get goosebumps. Marley’s music hits me in a different way. I’m a teenager, so I don’t listen because of the relaxation or the trend. I listen because of the music. One good thing about music is when it hits you you feel no pain. I love Marley’s concerts because of the way he interacts with the crowd. It’s amazing. I would love for you guys to release more concert footage in HD, especially from the Manhattan concert in 1975. I would also love for you guys to release the full complete audio from the pavilion concert in 1978 (Some audio from the performance shown in Babylon By Bus). It would mean a lot to me and all the Marley fans around the world. Would love to hear back from you guys! Thank you! Sincerely, A 15 year old Bob Marley fan.

If only words could be found to describe the beauty that lies in this song. The passion he puts into it, the meaning of the words, the traveling down memory lane, the encouragement to go on despite the difficulties of life, the capturing of losses incurred during life, the hope it inspires. There is hardly a human in this world that will listen to this song and not relate to it in some kind of way. I shall leave the rest for better tongues to tell.

He is singing this song to Rita w so much apology. You see it in his body language. You hear it in his words. You watch it in his face. He even opens his eyes for a few of the words, when usually his eyes stay closed.

Bob Marley, as legendary and famous as he was, I feel would stop and talk to you if he met you just walking down the street.. a very gentle soul as you feel in his music. What a loss to the whole world.

The greatest artist of all times. He was a true mentor and a Prophet. He dedicated his life to Art and to suffering people. Bob Marley is the purest example of how a human being should be. Thank you Uncle Bob for having been here and for having taught us the Truth. You are eternal

This performance of this astounding song is astonishing. Its almost ecstatic. I am not religious particularly - but it honestly seems like you can almost feel his soul, his hope and his love for humanity reaching out.... its incredibly powerful... the only other performer I ever saw come close is Al Green - you could feel love radiating from him too.... another man, like Marley, who felt touched by god (just a different one)... love unites us all

Agree with you about Al Green. You can feel their love radiating off from them. Not religious but I believe they were both God-sent to us all. Bless you
