My son has autism and didn't sleep well last night. It was a long, tiring day. So I'm snuggling him at bedtime and I hear him reciting something (he has a cute speech impediment) and I recognize Bob Marley lyrics : ) so I put on this song and my boy gets a huge sleepy smile Thanks, Bob.

I have a 15 month old son, our first baby and he is addicted to bob marley’s music so much. That’s the only kind of music that relaxes him, puts him to sleep and he knows how to dance to it. He’s intrigued by the live performance, the vibe and the voice of bob marley. Keeps him calm and relax little baby boy. Much love Bob Marley. RIP. Thanks to my 15 month old I rediscovered Bob Marleys music back in my life ❤️

The synchronisation, the bass player masterclass, the fabulous skills of the drummer, the backing vocals, the organ player, I mean, this band was sent by GOD. ron de bruin I agree, but Bob Marley was a strong-armer like Michael Jordan, who coincidentally was also born in February. He (they) demanded a certain way and giving up or in was not an option. Can’t take the heat, get out of Miami! Rita M is a witch, I’d like to add, don’t be fooled by her one bit - she should’ve left Bob while he was alive, not conspire to kill him and then accuse him of what she condoned until he died.

Got my first Bob Marley LP as a christmas gift from my brother exactly 40 years ago, a year after Bob's passing. Still listen to him at least once a week and he's my number one musical hero. This summer we went seeing his son Ziggy playing a tribute concert in my native town of Stockholm. He played the exact playlist his father played on that very stage the year 1980. It was a mighty evening. Bob already knew back then who the wicked rulers were and what they aim to. Today we can see their agenda out in the open. People, let's chase them crazy baldheads out of earth permanently. Don't buy into the division and woke insanity, they want us to fight each other - black/white, man/woman, young/old, religion/science, etc etc...divide and conquer on steroids now. God bless you all.

I attended one of Bob Marley's concerts, a scant year before his death, and he sounded just like this. Here Bob is plain rockin' out, which is what brought reggae to the mainstream in the early to late 70s. Bob Marley rock-ified and internationalized reggae. But for a more exquisite/dim sum sampling of this man's vast compositional talents, check out his valedictory album, "Uprising"! And while at it check out the exquisite brilliance of "Pimper's Paradise". It is Exhibit A that Marley was way bigger than reggae. "Uprising" is a must have album for any self-respecting Marley fan. Long live The King. Gangster Corleone.

Bob Marely showed me when I was young that music was powerful and extended beyond just background noise or something fun to have on at parties. It is a shame that mainstream music has gone in essentially the opposite direction.... the potential power music contains for provoking thought and change has been traded for its power to create consumer wealth for celebrities and the companies that own their images. Unfortunately, in the current state of music, we have few opportunities to see such powerful and dynamic performers put on such important and timeless shows. I doubt folks will look back at footage of contemporary music with the same awe struck sense of genius and soul

Stuart Day Guitars Honestly music has never influenced me to do anything and I listen to a lot of gospel, hip hop, and pop and a little Bob Marley and the Wailers. As a musician I think Bob is amazing, he's timeless but I've heard better. His influence and his compositions and writings are classic. When he talks he reminds me of those old Caribbean ladies at church. I wish he lived longer for the sake if his children and Jamaica

Bob Marley music was like a very sharp spear. I hope the message in the music went deep down to where it was supposed to be .

I’m 19, I grew up listening to Tupac, but in this day in age, as in rn, with all these drug promoting and killin sound cloud rappers, we need this type of music, Bob marley really needs to be heard by most of my generation
