wait thats a good point how the hell did her father die during childbirth I see very large plot hole the size of the grand canyon with that her father died during childbirth simple solution would be her father died on the day she was born simple right

Why the hell didn't they just let Tim Curry keep his British accent? No seriously, what's the reason for hiding his accent??? He always sounds like he's having trouble hiding it. Just let him keep it as there's no reason why he shouldn't be British in this movie.

.... why are the dogs on a spinning carousel? I think they took puppy *MILL* too literally.
@shwahgamer4 жыл бұрын
The only explanation I can think of is "They took it literally so they could make it cartoon-ish and not have to do any research into what an actual puppy mill looks and functions like because that'd be too dark."

@julieemmacham8 жыл бұрын
Puppy mills are a thousand times worst then what they picture in this movie, one of my dogs was rescued from a puppy mill, he came out of there covered in shit, malnourished, scared of everything and with lots of health issues. He was still a good dog, he died because of his stomach turning when he was only 8, but we gave him the best life we could, even if he sadly had a short one.

I adopted 2 dogs from a puppy mill. They were trying to create a new smallest breed of dog, so they put both of them into the same tiny cage and hardly fed them (which only kept their legs and kidneys from growing). I had to adopt both of them 'cause the sisters love each other too much and can never be separated.

17:33 How the scene SHOULD have gone!!! *Sam:* You know, you're not the same person you used to be. *Mom:* Yeah, right. *Sam:* You've changed. You used to fight for what was right. You taught me that I had to have ideals and do the right things and follow through on them! *Bobsheaux:* Yes, I used to fight for what I believed in. I will fight and protest for animal rights until I am blue in the face. But if it comes down to a choice between that and my child, I'm giving that up! I had to learn the hard way how to play by the rules. What's going to have to happen to you for you to do the same? Why are kids movies so allergic to their characters having a little respect for their parents??? This scene would have made the movie have SO MUCH more meaning and purpose. And it would have shown how Mom was always putting Sam FIRST!

I think its because studios are afraid of the Parents’ backlash. I heard Hasbro got yelled at a lot for the Transformers Movie killing off so many characters. Every studio is a business and unfortunately, they need to prioritize their customers’ opinions over their own 100% of the time or they won’t pay attention to them anymore. It stinks, especially if it prevents good material from being published, but that is society for ya. 😅

Funny story... the movie you want to see, about the henchman with hidden depths and love for dogs, kind of got made, and was even about a dog named Bailey. Bizarre. I was checking Netflix to see if this was there and found something to the effect of "Bailey: A Night in Cowtown." It got bad human actors, a rather weak plot and is apparently part of a series so there are references in need of unpacking. But, in the middle of the rescue portion of the movie (which features low-grade criminals and a doggie mistaken identity plot) the intimidating badass biker dude has to watch a kid who came for the dog that belongs to someone he knows. And then we get the part you wanted. The biker dude with a criminal record used to be a famous and successful stuntman, and the place they both are was the setting for one of his movies. He gives a long, clearly enjoyed explanation about the movie, how he loved what he did and even how he regrets how things have gone. It's the right amount of semi-cheesy emotion that erases some of the sins of the movie. Some. I wish I could say you should watch it but finding it is likely to be hard. It left Netflix (oh, but A Pony Tale, the other movie by that A Talking Cat?!? guy is there now? No justice I tell ya...) so I have no idea where to find it besides bargain bins. But I wanted you to know the movie you seek really does exist in some form.

This movie is very similar to Disney's 1986 "The Richest Cat in the World" except that the heir is a cat instead of a dog and there is no animal rights subplot. Also, the 1986 one is a better movie in my opinion. The number 1 real life instance of millionaires leaving their fortune to pets that I instantly recall when watching such movies is the 2007 case of Leona Helmsley leaving her mone to her pet Maltese dog named Trouble.

@Lishadra9 жыл бұрын
PETA has actually been known to cause more harm to the animals than what they claim causes them. For example, they did an advert about shearing sheep and made the lamb look all bloody. Shearing is actually HARMLESS and even GOOD for the sheep. *kicks soap box away* I'm done now.

Actually, dog talking while Interpreteur guy doesn't look at them makes sense. It's not like Chinese people can't communicate when a Mandarin specialist doesn't hear them, so it makes sense as a sort of continuous Dogese-English dub. Does anyone know "The Monkey Lady" is the actress who plays Andrea from the Walking Dead? Not sure if this took place before or after this movie? But if it was after this movie, then oh my god she has seriously overcome truly the most bullshit role of her life! And improved greatly. However for the rest of the movie, Bobsheaux? What the fuck are we suppose to take from this?! Dean Cain? Tim Curry(who is my most beloved actor)? Jennifer Tilly (who was one of my first Celeb crushes, and kinda still is, despite our age difference, I still find her attractive)? Why? I mean I'm not sure what the hell happened to Dean? But the rest of them have done far better films and should be above shit like this. As for Jon Lovitz...He can just play anything, I think he will do well (with this film as an exception), so I'm not too hurt by that fact. Also the film is just...well, pretty much what you just said at the end of the review. Also despite the role, Jennifer Tilly is still quite lovely to look at and listen to, I would probably lose to her in poker, but I wouldn't care.

@bijanthegr919 жыл бұрын
Let's not forget, destroying all of Metropolis while fighting this genocidal maniac, who in my opinion was more sympathetic, because he was merely trying to save his race (Although there were more diplomatic solutions he could've done). I'm more complaining about how this Superman decimated a heavily populated city, and did nothing to prevent loss of life. It's okay for him to Kill Zod, but he should've done it sooner, or better yet took the fight elsewhere, I mean he could've trick Zod in fighting him away from the populated areas. This is why I am a fan of Marvel's Avengers, because at least Captain America made a quick plan to prevent a huge loss of civilian life. So they're more of a hero than Superman. Well them and Batman, because he tries to save lives.
