I wasn't there but the music brings me there very time i hear this. Very beautiful, innocent and carefree times, long gone. I'll be there...in another life I hope. Thank you Bob.

Grandparents owned a unit in Bond Street. How many times head down to the beach... north end.. or walk down to the South end really early on a sunday morning.. great memories.. Sadly unit has been sold but Maroubra and the Seals will always hold a special memory in my heart (1973 - I was 10). ty for this trip down memory lane.

Thanks Bob for posting this for all of us that lived and surfed at Maroubra, hangn down North Maroubra Kiosk (Coliseum) with my Bros on the weekends, to going for the early or the late on every break across the beach( having a helicopter calling us in surfing at South Maroubra when the beach was closed on a stormy day with big swells and raw sewerage pumping out b4 they built the offshore pipeline.... putting wax in our ears so we wouldn't get ear infections...the waves were pumpn ...to the crisp clean break in winter blowing offshore... if it was only yesterday to do it all again tomorrow I would.... there's a part on here ( at 2:55) looks like me in my Ripcurl Aggrolite steamer, boy those cold winter mornings.... thanks for the memories flooding back...they were great days and waves back then

Brilliant video clip. Fantastic historical footage - clearly a labour of love from all contributors and a wonderful tribute to your musical genius, Bob; as well as to the passions and memories of our Maroubra surfies, current, future and long past.

Awesome footage. Cant get over the amount of change to the waterfront since this footage, maybe not so positive. The music evokes the feel of the time. Love it Bob!
