Hi teacher Bob! 🖐️😎 Their important influence on our lives may have become ordinary because we have gotten used to it, but it is very nice and valuable to have people who can say "I hear you" or "I got you" whenever the need arises. 🧢👠🏆 Thanks for this unique lesson! Have a great day! Bye 👋😊🌹💐♥️

Good day, Bob! Does mushroom compost work bettrer than cow manure, I wonder? I'm gonna follow your advice as a beginner farmer))) and use it😀🤝🤝🤝❤
@bobsshortenglishlessons5 ай бұрын
It's about the same, but more readily available. Most cow farms use their own manure on their fields. 😎🌹💐

No, your lessons are never boring. You do a great job. It also would be great to hear from you other explanations of this phrase "I got you". Even if people think they're obvious, I would be thankful if you could tell more about that. Am I right with my guessing that "I got you" also means "I understand you"?

I guess Americans always pronounce this phrase like "I hear ya." so far as I know. Do Canadians do this as well? Not the ugly part of your farm. The great source for learning culture and English 😉🤝🎉

Hey Bob, the dark spot at 03:05 on the left in the background of the mushroom compost is water, right? (I guess it's water because I think the green on it is duckweed if I remember the name correctly 😅.) Is this area a separate pond or is it part of the one where your pump is located? Thanks for everything Bob. Have a great day and take care. 👨🌾🚜🍀
@bobsshortenglishlessons5 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's water, but not the pond. It's simply runoff from the pile when it rains. It eventually makes its way to the pod though. 😎🌹💐

@@bobsshortenglishlessons Sometimes it's hard to tell where all these places are on your farm, or which ones are adjacent to which ones, Bob. Despite all your and, more recently, Jen's incredible videos. (Or maybe it's my bad sense of direction 😅.) But who knows, maybe one day I'll get a chance to take a tour of your farm. (That would be something.) Just kidding, you know what I mean 😘. Have a relaxing afternoon sir and greetings to Jen and your kids. 🌎🛫🇨🇦

Hi Bob, With all this mushroom compost, can it be considered that the flowers and plants that Jen grows for the markets are made under the organic label? Do you, like us in France, have a distinction in the fruits sold in grocery stores between those in organic and classic ones with chemical fertilizer? Organic products are better for our health but unfortunately significantly more expensive on the shelves! 🍊🍍🍌🌻🌷🌺
@bobsshortenglishlessons5 ай бұрын
We are not certified organic, nor are we fully organic, but we do try to grow using organic methods 90% of the time. Weed are pulled by hand! 😎🌹💐

Hi, Bob! I'm a big fan of you. I have a question that's not about the subject of the video. But i really would like your help with this question. It'll help me lot because i'm planning to move to Canada in a few years and beyond studying english with you here, i do a lot of research to know Canada the best that i can before moving. The subject and question: use of drugs, specifically cannabis. I discovered that in Canada, using Cannabis is not a crime. The people can buy from government stores and use it. I don't like, neither my family. And i wouldn't like to expose my kids to it. My question is: - how common is the use? - People use it like the regular tabaco cigarrete, for example? - I.e. in the streets, parks, etc? I read about it and i know there are limits, like don't use near kids and etc. But people that use, really respect it? Is it more common in the big cities than in small cities or in the country? Every information about this it'll be useful. Thanks.
@bobsshortenglishlessons5 ай бұрын
I'm not sure how common the use it, but yes, it is legal. I think younger people are more likely to use it. I'm not into it at all. 😎🌹💐

Hi Bob. I have a hunch based on watching Jen's channel. If you ask her to find a new camera position, that "ugliest" place on the farm might turn into the most beautiful.😊
