This has nothing to do with the community standing up to Ea and Respawn. This is simply because Ea isn't doing well as a whole and they dont want their stocks to keep dropping and Apex is one of their biggest cash cows and they cant afford for it to keep going under. But it won't matter because the reason the game was losing players wasn't because of monetization( it didn't help but wasn't the issue). It's because respawn keeps making dumb and bad changes to the game that people didn't enjoy like making support super op and unrivaled as a class

As stated in the video, Respawn/EA spent 2024 prioritizing profit, and not investing into the game; I think most people you ask would say the opposite is true, they didn't add enough new content/make enough impactful changes to mix things up (after 5 years a game starts getting stale). It's a sad sight to see that the devs have to actually force the pros to be creative in the game. Also respawn are crazy if they think changing the ring in a BR is a good idea. Fortnite has had the storm since before Apex was a thing and havent changed it much and nobody complains so idk why they would mess with the ring in apex. It just sounds like changing something for the sake of saying you changed it which never has gone well in apex so far. Respawn should just focus on changing things that are actually needed and not because they want to artificially "shake things up". I swear everytime they say that phrase the season that comes out is terrible.

I feel like the apex zone is overused a bit at times to help create resets which is cool but I feel like a majority of the time Fortnite players are already in the zone so the storm doesn’t really matter as much in that game as it may in apex

@octodogg9635 That's a by-product of respawn not making the ring closing random enough, so most games the ring goes in the same 4 different patterns depending on the map. Im not against making it more random, but making it easier to guess shouldn't be the route they take its why every endgame feels samey and poi's go unused. If you wanna predict a ring pattern, you should use a control legend to varify the next ring for that specific game. If teams can make a spread sheet of predicting the ring easier then theres no point to the ring and makes the game boring because you'll always see the exact same player behaviors of them dropping at the same pois, guarding the same areas and rotating in the exact same way.

@scrambledlegs423 for fortnite there is ring sickness mechanic so the more time you spend in the ring at any point of the game the more damage you take and the faster of a tick you get from being in the storm later on so its very risky to get stuck or fight in the storm which is why you dont see it. If what was said in the video is to be believed respawn are trying to lessen the impact of a ring which is a terrible idea the ringbis supposed to be something to be feared and to keep players focused on always moving around which forces engagements, incentives not camping and paying attention to your surrounding. It creates extra pressure to Brs as a whole for just existing it makes nowhere truly safe so that players will react in a way that draws them to other teams or even locations. It also can cause teams to want to end engagements faster and not just draw out a long hard fought battle that goes on way longer. Which the longer the fight the higher chance there is to be 3rd partied or camped out of the ring by faster teams. But respawn dont use their ring in that way because they're afraid itd make the games too fast or something idk the actual reason but either way minimizing the ring's impact is just going to negatively impact the game at a time where it doesn't need anymore half baked or lack of effort changes.

Skirmisher buff should come before assault. Pathfinder needs to go back to how he was. I dont even use him and his nerf is absolutely ridiculous. When I first heard about banning Legends I didn't think it would work out due some bad rumors of it being voted on like some games. The #1 picked Legend being banned after each game actually sounds really good. There could or should also be something in there that if you haven't picked the banned legend yet, you can still do so in a later game. That way teams can strategize when to play the meta Legends instead of everyone picking the same Legends in game 1-3. I'd pick off meta Legends early on and when everyone else is picking random teams, I'd go with the best current meta at the time to try and have that advantage. It would just be one more strategic aspect to an already strategic game.

I feel like every season is the same thing... they make something sound amazing and then when we actually get into it its either extremely underwhelming or they do something massively stupid (like splitting the battlepass, because... money) and ruin the whole experience. First thing that needs to be focused on - the new support meta. In theory it was cool to see the changes, but they should have restricted the heal changes to Lifeline, like in s0/s1. Its what made her unique and was actually a really balanced passive. Second - shields. Lower the GD shield HP and restrict them to either blue or purple MAX. The game has become INSANELY spongey and the support meta only makes it worse. Third - shields. Honestly this is one of the biggest problems with this game. More spongey health = less risk to recklessly third-party teams. Four - Map rotation needs to be tweaked, especially for ranked. The game has limited maps as it is -- stop excluding them. Its time to put all maps in a random rotation and allow us to enjoy everything. This includes all variants of every maps as well -- day/night, original vs remake, the whole 9 yards. This will help make ranked feel fresh.

Honestly all I want is the Revenant old tactical and ultimate to be back in the game. Rev's Silencer is a great way to lock down legends who's always relied on their abilities like Skirmisher's escape or Supporters revive and the ultimate is basically a second life. Seer's way is dogshit atm even though it's advantages is able to go through walls. Doesn't have to be on the same legends either.

But instead forcing the next ring GOES into the console command where the legend interact (Applied to last controller scanned and cannot be used when ring moving) Just imagine the strategy when ring almost closing at ring 3... and you already outside the ring thinking you gonna died there. But you see a console still unused and having controller legend. You interact with it... ring closing in INTO you. And all people inside the ring panic because the ring ran toward another side of maps

honestly with the ring, you literally have 1 minute and 30 seconds BEFORE the ring closes, theres also a line pointing to the ring. If you genuinely struggle with where the ring is thats a you issue. yes its nice to have a control legend to scan for the next but thats all you really need, set up in the green ring and hold your ground. 🤦‍♂

doesnt work on dummies, in the game when you knock someone with that hop-up it adds 30% to your ultimate

I skip a few seasons and get back. Gameplay and new stuff is what keeps me coming back. I think is a good way to enjoy the game. I don't get intense about it, I don't get hater about it. Just enjoy it for what it is, a game. ... Although, I'd recommend giving players a boost of some kind for staying in Qp matches because I only do rank because players don't leave immediately Or do a "I will leave the game on knock" check and pair them together while team players can get match together, idk Or bring solos, idk

dont get your hopes up if they let you down just switch to the finals that has its own twist of movement and abilities it also rotates between all the maps they fix the bugs more often then apex not only that they also do cool events for cool items and the game had no fomo since the start of the game
