***** Fine, but I do think he is every so slightly overrated. Ireland were on the up in 2003, they only lost to a dominant England side that would become the best NH side in history and rank among the best of all time (save for the current NZ team which is just getting boring now). The switch to provincial rugby hit a note circa. 2002 and certainly central contracting has played a big role in allowing the IRFU to develop an effective national team. Can't just use O'Driscoll as the be all and end all.
