Omg, finally I get it! 😭 Thank you very much, I really needed to see all combinations for every term to understand the differences, and every other video on youtube only showed one for every side, making it hard to memorize.

Thank you! I used to teach these body positions but students don’t seem to retain the terms. I will send them here for a refresher!

Thanks Joanne. Same happens with my students. I found that effacé and croisé are the hardest ones to differentiate. Maybe through repetition and dedicating few classes just to insist on body and leg position could help. Could be good idea including the changes on the barre at first?!

I quite like and appreciate what @Jeté59 has said . . 'she used to teach these but students don't seem to retain the terms'! I find it 'hard' to remember many terms, too. Thank you @Jete59 😊. And thank you @BalletForAll 😊.

I don't have sound right now and it automatically close captions something you're saying as "bad mountain dew" repeatedly and I really wish I had sound to find out what you're saying. This is a super helpful video. I draw ballet

Third position of legs or arms? And which methodology are you referring to?
@normamimosa5991 Жыл бұрын
@@BalletForAll Third position of legs. Eliminated a long time ago. Now straight into fifth.
@BalletForAll_Espanol Жыл бұрын
Which methodology? Cuban ballet method is still using it, as kids will learn 3rd position before even trying 5th or 4th position. Im interested to know which ballet method has taken that path.🤓
@LinnMeander9 ай бұрын
In Vaganova adult beginner training, third position is still very much a thing. Some people can't do fifth.
