I had to dig around a bit to find this, many of the articles online with oddly incomplete. " Ms. Gao received immediate first aid and was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was treated and later discharged. The case has been referred to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office ,no charges have been filed on Ms. Gao at this time." BART police had made a statement at the time saying she was going to be charged with about 10 crimes, but here we are a month later and no charges as of yet.

It's kind of a game. During the stop she is detained. That means she can be cuffed and taken to jail. The cops can hold you for 72 hrs without charges. That being said, they need proper suspicion (ras) that a crime or violation has occurred, which they did in the video. The thing is, they can and do lie. They said they got a call and her car matched the description but the call may have been hours earlier or a male driver. The bottom line is she's an idiot and the cops are even bigger idiots.

It's most likely a case of mistaken identity. There is a rascal that lives down the street with a dark sedan like hers and he and his friends often drag-race and do doughnuts in the neighborhood close to the BART station. He lives on Starling Drive and gets on everyone's nerves. Somehow the UC police still hasn't arrested him in spite of the many complaints.
