Agreed, this was a courtesy win more than anything. Japan prefers sending new faces on international competitions to gain exposure. Narumi and Ayumi have already represented Japan a billion times, they're also guaranteed to win. This is a good opportunity for other Japanese bgirls to stand on the global stage.
