Sharp analysis, dude. I agree with everything you say. Fuck hypocrisy and RIP Riley, not only his music is kickass (and I truely hope Power Trip pulls and A/DC and continues), but the guy looked like an absolute gem of a man. He will be missed. Drink to the dead!

Amazing Crossover Speed Metal band. Been a fan since 1990 of the band. I was a fan of Ice-T's Gangsta Rap solo days & glad he went back to his Metal roots with Body Count in 1990.

I'm 34, too. Makes you really think deeply about life in general and your own life specifically and how fast it can end for seemingly no reason.

I'm a massive Bodycount fan. Never really listened to Riley till I heard this track on the carnivore album. I was impressed. Decided to check out power Trip. Great stuff. Couldn't believe it that he recently passed. Only just became a fan. RIP Riley.

I've never seen people complain about politics in art, only in entertainment. Video games and sports are entertainment, so it makes sense people want to use them to escape the shittiness of the world rather than keep being reminded of it. If someone protests over being kept from playing sports using sports as his only/best available platform, that's related and therefore fitting. It's also not a controversial opinion today that segregation was wrong. If you want to preach to me, use a medium that's meant for it.

You have never seen people complain about politics in art? You are either not following bands on social media or not reading comment sections of videos on YT

@@APREACTS I wonder if what you've seen there were complaints about the idea or simply disagreement with the actual views. Ministry got massive shit for supporting Antifa, but I didn't see anyone saying they couldn't express themselves.

“Stick to playing music” comment shows up a lot. I have no issue with people not agreeing with someone’s views, my issue is telling them they can’t have an opinion or express it, regardless of the medium.

@@APREACTS I suppose not following anyone on Twitter was a good decision then.

Twitter, FB or any other social media. My issue is hypocrisy and intolerance. The same people who praise Tom Araya for posting conservative views criticize Mark Morton for his liberal ones. Hell, I had people tell me on my personal FB to stick to music reviews.

I also lost my mate yesterday from suicide and he was also in a local band to me. Please take your time to check out his band and that'll make his memory last forever kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZvKq4CvYtSXp8U R.I.P James Miller and Riley Gale, this year really has been the worst year but their memory will live on with the music they made
