Dude, I totally commiserate with you. Right there with you. I was one of those skinny guys and then got big as an adult. Now I obsess on getting back to where I used to be.

What id recommend is a simple thing, track your food for a week, eat as much as you would normally but then cut maybe 500-750 calories off and track to make sure you stick that, eat what you want as long as you stick in under that number you'll be great, also try avoiding cheat days since it caneasily ruin a lot of progress for the week.
