The sad fact is- I and many others can relate. It was my cousin. I was scared to tell anyone until almost 2 years after and by then no one cared. The only person who helped me through it was my gf. this happened when I was almost 15. I’m 17 basically I just told people a couple months ago. Your friend is not a good friend, because that is a big deal, a really big deal. If someone touches you like that, you should tell a trusted adult, like your parents, teacher, or police, if you are an adult, then probably just the police, but still, that wasn't right of the person to do that, touching a person without their consent is assault, even if it is just a hug, which, in your case, it wasn't a hug. Your friend should have taken the situation more seriously, and done something about it. They should have at least stood up for you, and instead of telling you that it wasn't a "big deal" (which it was), they should have comforted you, and told you what you should do in that situation. A lot of people are told what to do at a young age, so if they didn't know that, it's fine, but they still should have asked if you were ok, even if that person didn't hurt you physically, they could have hurt you mentally.
