Anyone who likes these guys (most people listening to this, seemingly), go buy and listen to their albums- No spoilers, but if you haven't heard them yet, each song gets a whole other meaning when coupled with the other songs that they've been put with. The sticks, in particular, is very interesting in terms of composition - it's arguably a concept album, and quite an excellent piece, artistically.

It's a body of years that I leave all alone. It's Just a body of years, now a pile of bones. You know. Old soul who falls down can't stop trippin' on these Old roads I go down get back up and get my foot in the door, and my face on the page make my mark in the world with a bat and a blade. @jeffblimsfalcetto3748
@jeffblimsfalcetto3748 2 жыл бұрын
@@evanwakelin7944I think it might be because in the chorus with the "oooold soul" bits, that's mostly the girls singing and then Ryan just has a quieter lower harmony? You're right, I think you can hear the girls more in this one, which is fab cause they get a chance to shine. I also think any differences in his pitch throughout is probably just because this is from when he was much younger 😄

This song is almost hypnotic to me with how circular it is. I love it and hate it at the same time. Also, the outro is so fucking sick.
