Ya, the more I watch them perform live, the more I realize that Narumi isn't really having fun. I've seen some of her originals, ridiculous! She's got a different vibe than the other girls. If they pick up a couple of young, killer guitarist, their performance energy will go through the roof.

Have to agree. Narumi of course is a terrific guitarist though she always seemed somewhat aloof particularly in the videos I've seen of Lonesome_Blue whether it was on Gekirock, MV'S or even this live performance. Certainly hope Lonesome_Blue do decide to continue as a band but with Mizuki currently playing with East of Eden, who knows what the future holds for Lonesome_Blue.✌️❤️🤘

I literally just discovered this band today, and if the guitarist leaving is true, then this going to be the 6th band in a row I just discovered, and got really into on first listen, right before, or sometime after they broke up... IRONBUNNY, SECONDWALL, Girugamesh, Stereopony, The Winking Owl, and now (possibly) Lonesome_Blue. If it weren't for my favorite BAND-MAID still being active, I'd say my musical taste is cursed...

Je ne sais pas si Narumi part car Maiko n'est pas pas vraiment juste dans ses chansons, ou s'il s'agit de divergence musicale, mésentente ou autre. Quoiqu'il en soit c'est dommage, Maiko a une belle voix, est très jeune et va progresser. En tout cas les 2 premiers cd étaient prometteurs et il y a tellement de talents au Japon. Je propose Mayto ex Hagane rejoindre Lonesome Blue et Narumi vers Hagane ! 😊

Allez, un peu de français pour une fois... ;) A mon avis le départ de Narumi a plus à faire avec le concept même de Lonesome Blue, qui est un projet de producteur/label pour lequel les membres recrutées n'ont probablement que fort peu voix au chapitre sur les différents choix, et ne signent aucune des chansons. Presque toutes les musique de l'album sont signées par Mao (qui est aussi largement derrière Lovebites, mais les Lovebites sont autorisées à contribuer artistiquement beaucoup plus que dans Lonesome Blue, y compris pour les musiques). Pour une artiste comme Narumi qui a un assez long passé dans des groupes rock plus authentiques, ça a dû être très frustrant à la longue. Et puis, on ne peut pas exclure que dans un groupe de filles 'recrutées' comme celui-là il y ait aussi des tensions personnelles entre les jeunes femmes.

Merci Madame, je comprends tout à fait votre avis, m'étant bien rendu compte que les Band japonaises-à la différence des autres pays- sont avant tout la création de producteurs, jusqu'aux costumes de scène (band Maid etc...). Je vois très bien qui est Mao, et mon groupe préféré est Lovebites, j'avais aussi pu lire qu'Asami avait encouragé Lonesome Blue. C'est ainsi qu'ils ont mis fin à Mary's Blood 😭 (que je préférais pourtant à Nemophila), c est ainsi qu'ils créent ou essaient de créer d'autres groupes, Ibuki, Sin Isomer, Doll Boxx, Rami the Requiem, Hagane, Paradoxx, Mari (Catharsis) etc, etc...j'avoue ne plus écouter que du métal japonais et faire avec ce concept même si je ne l'apprécie pas. Cependant force est de constater qu'après 50 ans d'écoute de Heavy Metal, il n'y a plus qu'au Japon qu'on trouve de bons groupes, les 3 derniers Mari Hamada, quel régal, Unlucky morpheus, Fate Gear, Bridear, Asterism, D_drive, Rie Aka Suzaku, PaleNoO, Empress, Mardelas, Aldious, etc... quelles richesses... Impressionnant de qualité.

@@christophemetal5840 Presque 100% d'accord (sauf que je ne suis pas une dame :) ). Il semble bien cependant que Band-Maid, Mary's Blood ou Bridear n'aient pas été des créations des producteurs mais de 'vrais' groupes créés par les musiciennes au départ. Pour Lovebites c'est moins clair: Miho revendique la création du groupe dans les notes de leur tout premier EP, mais déjà accompagnée par Mao. Quoi qu'il en soit, dès que le groupe est 'signé', les musiciennes deviennent quasiment des salariées de leur agence de prod et perdent le contrôle. C'est pour cela que Fate Gear ou Unlucky Morpheus restent farouchement indépendants malgré les inconvénients de promotion et de moyens financiers. Et effectivement dès que l'on 'tombe' dans le J-Metal féminin, difficile d'écouter autre chose... :)

For real? That's a bummer. I did notice she wasn't really smiling in these videos anywhere near as much as the others, but I was hoping that was just her normal "game face" (ala Miyako from Lovebites) and not that she was unhappy.

​@@johnp.johnson1541Have you not noticed all the talent in Japan? There's could be another Band Maid, Lovebites or Nemophila around the corner that's just missing her as the last piece. I never felt anything unique from Lonesome_Blue, like I do with those bands, or when listening to Asterism, Senri Kawaguchi, Juna Serita, Chai. I still think they're skilled musicians, but FOR ME nothing really stands out and maybe Narumi also feels a lack of "spark". I think she's a great guitarist, and she'll be great wherever she lands. How many bands was Miyako in before joining what feels like the perfect fit. Same with Saki. I also hope the best for Lonesome_Blue. I don't want to make it sound like I think they suck, because that's not it. They're great musicians also. I'm sure in the end it will work out for everybody.

@@BulletProofSoul1029 Have you checked out my more than 250 playlists of Japanese rock bands? Band-Maid, the maid cafe cosplay band hardly deserves mention along side true talents like Lovebites or Nemophila. Bands like Letitout-lelia and female fronted bands like Doll Parts and Dimrays are way more original than even talented bands like Lovebites. Lovebites borrows heavily from bands like Thousand Leaves.
