Yeshua will help you understand! He will always help His children. If someone has truly left the faith and begins to truly hate God, then they never truly accepted Christ in the first place. Here is why i believe this. in Timothy it says “if we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” we do become one with Christ when we are saved so i believe in the same way, a christian cannot hate God. we cannot deny ourself, the spirit self which is one with the Holy Spirit. we can make bad decisions in theflesh which leads to discipline from our heavenly Father but in the same way He cannot just nullify our adoption just because we arent acting like we should. our place with Christ is secure! when we know this, we long to do good works for our mighty and gracious loving Lord!

My dad went to Rhema in ‘99 and we grew up with similar teachings. It actually helps so much, not just spiritually, but in every aspect of life, to understand, really understand in your spirit, that we are spirits that have souls and live in bodies. For me, it helped me understand that feelings and thoughts do not control me, they must come under submission to Christ and if they oppose His word they are wrong. It’s something I try to get across to my wife, who grew up Catholic and can very soul-conscious. It can sometimes be difficult to follow myself, mostly when it comes to having a temper, but I know that is not the real me, and that alone helps.

There's no amount of time lost that God can't work with. I've spent like 9-10 years not really focused, but now am. Through those years tho I still learned a lot, but I wasn't obeying, still praying and praising, but just wasn't obeying. It's a lot better now. Just know you are redeemed and loved by God, you did the first step, returned.

You are mistaken. The breath of God, in Genesis 2, is Ruach, or pneuma in Greek, which He breathed into the lungs of the man Ged made from the dirt, and man became a living soul. According to Ecclesiastes when you die, your body returns to the dust, the spirit or Ruach returns to God and the soul ceases to exist

11:35 Christians Can't have demons. However, let's not get confused when people say that they "have a demon". Some people have a hard time articulating what they mean. Demon's can enter you through your mind and control your thoughts, if you allow it. Anyone that has experience on the evil side can attest. They can't dwell in you because of the Holy Spirit. And regarding the soul, that is what this entire fight between good and evil is all about, a fight for your soul, because your soul can go either way...heaven or hell. I understand you are speaking to us Born Again Christians who without a doubt are walking with Christ but let's keep in mind that some folks will die committing evil acts having never accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
