This series is a great idea. I'm 52 and I charge some sizable surf but since I've been bodyboarding for so long I think I just rely on my experience to avoid sketchy situations and not to panic if I am in a sketchy situation. I've never been a fan of the gym but now that I'm older I should probably consider some type of strength training to prolong my days in the water..

Thanks for the message! Yes, it's easy to neglect doing things outside of the water that may help us to surf better, harder or for longer. I guess all we want to do is surf, right! But it would be a good idea to start doing what you can so that you can keep charging for as long as possible!
