The Rock Dwayne Johnson is a monster of a man, but how good would this wrestling body builder do in actual mma?

@@mistermiyagi6073 I don't think anybody under 170 would have fun with the rock if it's mma. He doesn't need to be accurate with that much of a weight difference anywhere he can land will hurt, and if it gets on the ground the weight difference will be painful too.

Heard someone say learning side kicks to the leg is the best self defense. My reply to their video is that side kicks are really hard to teach normal and even people like the rock. Kicking isn't a natural way of defense for us. I've have shown many people how to kick, almost none of them have ever done it right.

The Rock "bottle pisser" Dwayne Johnson
@glaeken_molasar28 күн бұрын
From what I got, he pissed in the bottle so he didn't have to take off the entire suit which would take time and them put it on which would again take time so it would take hours of production day after day. Him being late on set is literally nonsense considering that it was a point of beef with Vin Diesel. Diesel is late. Rock can't be late as he films and produces few films in the year unlike Diesel who does once in few years and mostly FF movies. It was confirmed that him being late is nonsense, him pissing in the bottle (which other people had done for same reasons) is not a crime. I think Rock is fake, his humble personality and the way he tries to present himself, but he is not a lazy asshole who is late and does diva moves, that is literally Vin Diesel. And all of these accusations only came out when he stopped endorsing Biden. When you do that openly, media will always have dirt thrown your way. If you are an athlete, they will "catch" you on PEDs or suddenly history of abuse and accusations of such will come out.
@fgbae822028 күн бұрын
@@glaeken_molasar oh no no my friend, hes not just pissing in bottles on set, he also does it regularly at the gym, because (and I quote) "I have not time for this shit, when I train I train hard huehue" or other excuses like "yeah the gym I go to has no bathrooms". It's literally on video. He's a weirdo who likes to piss in bottles in public spaces.
@fgbae822028 күн бұрын
"and all these accusations only came out when he stopped endorsing Biden" Ohh shut up dude, leave your dumb political bias out of this. The video of him in the gym where he admits to pissing in bottles (you can literally see his piss in a Voss bottle) in between sets is literally years old.

He is tracing for the Movie The Smashing Machine, a movie about the life of Mark Kerr. I agree bodybuilders can’t move or have the stamina as a trained martial artist due to the difference in trying to accomplish different goals. That being said people like Mark Kerr and Mark Coleman adapted their body styles to mma and faired well for sometime. Now if you look at someone like Allister Overeem or Vitor Belfort before testing who was Jacked but changed their training style were very dangerous fighter. Just saying…

I see way more mma fanboys talking shit about bodybuilders than I do bodybuilders who actually think they can fight. The only one that talks about winning fights is Bradley Martin, and he is just doing it for attention. Also, bodybuilders can beat up 90% of the population purely on size and strength alone so they can "fight" just not at an elite level. It seems to me that fighters and fight fans are the insecure ones, talking shit about guys just trying to train and experience martial arts because they hate the public perception that muscles= fighting prowess.

Calling the rock a “bodybuilder” as though he wasn’t a wrestler is crazy
@squeezylo29 күн бұрын
But this is a an mma channel and saying a wrestler would imply he wrestled for real and he never did. He was an entertainer. So calling him a body builder is definitely more accurate than calling him a wrestler. He definitely does the sport of body building
@nicholasmacedo773829 күн бұрын
@@squeezylo first off I’m pretty sure a person doesn’t get to be in the wwe without real wrestling experience being that the style being portrayed is itself rooted in catch wrestling. But even if he doesn’t have real wrestling experience, the athleticism, skill and endurance required to perform “fake” wrestling moves is on a completely different level than what’s needed in bodybuilding
@squeezylo29 күн бұрын
@@nicholasmacedo7738 hahah. They definitely don’t need to have a wrestling background to get into WWE. lots of characters in the WWE don’t have a real wrestling background. They definitely have athletes. And the Rock was definitely athletic and was actually a football player until he got hurt. But to calm him a wrestler on this channel is just wrong when there are fighters mention here who have actual wrestling background which the rock does not have. He even struggled at first when he entered WWE. So it is definitely more honest to refer to him as a bodybuilder/actor at this point as that is what he is.
@DuboisDel28 күн бұрын
What is "crazy" about it? Mindsmash doesn't do "crazy". What it does do is considered, measured observation, and that is exactly what has been relayed here...accurately too. What, are you in your 20s...30s maybe? Because this dude👆🏽ain't got no real wrestling background I've ever heard of, instead, it's well known he comes from the WWE, in-ring performing sports entertainment storytelling era, he's 𝘯𝘰𝘵 even from the heydey of WWF where ringmaster technicians like the Hart bros, Backlund, Davey Boy Smith, Curt Angel, Mr Perfect even, etc etc etc abounded and who all had real wrestling backgrounds. The last I heard, The Rock was an American Footballer before being a 'wrestler', but he has basically ALWAYS been a "bodybuilder", just like the man said in the video. What 𝘪𝘴 crazy though is the hyperbolic use of "crazy" all the time these days by people desperately overemphasising their point. Do your research son
