this is a fantastic and easy to follow pattern and i’m so grateful for it!! my only question is this, is there anything special that needs to be done when connecting the line from the bust to the bottom of the arm hole if they are not the same line like yours is? my bust line falls lower on my torso than my arm hole does, so i just assume it would be connected with a straight line? or does it need to be another curve? thank you for this tutorial!!!

How do you draw the armhole curve if your armhole isn't at the same height as your bust height??? I'm so confused about this bit. My armhole circumference is 50cm so my line down for the armhole is 25cm from the shoulder point. The fullest part of my bust is 30cm from my shoulder. How does that line up?? Yours come to the same point.

IMO zipper would be uncomfortable. Especially the pulling part, not to mention zippers are stiff and that would be felt through underwear, leading to itching and other unpleasant things. There is a reason why snap buttons are used, even on baby clothes and they are not even moving much, definitely not sitting, walking like adults do. Snaps can sort of mold to your body, but you have to be careful which way you put them in. I suggest watching a few videos of how to sew a newborn bodysuit to get the hang of it.

@@selendia12345 if you're using stretchy woven, zipper isn't necessary, just make sure the neckline is big enough, so it's more like a one piece swimsuit. If you need to use the zipper, use fusable interfacing as to not tear out a hole in the fabric, you can add 3 cm if using hidden zipper (use 1.5 cm seam allowance to help prevent tearing it out). Add this by cutting your pattern in the place you plan to use the zipper and spreading it. Please make a mockup before sewing the whole thing, this is just how I would do it and may not work for your fabric/costume choice. If the zipper fails, you can try snap buttons on side seam, shoulder seam or some inconspicious part of the costume.
