When that sheer bolt broke I felt that. Been there done that more times than I’d like to admit 😅 and like you said a lot of times you know it’s about to happen and waiting for it is the worst feeling ever lol

Love the video! I’ve actually been doing this over the winter as well. I’ve rebaled around 50-60 rounds so far

It helps if you go over the row with the hay bob !

Did a bunch of that in the winter a long time ago when someone wanted some little bales and didn't have enough of them in the barn. Plow a spot off bring round bales out of the shed or stack and fork then into the baler with a trailer behind the baler and the kicker set on 4. 4x5 coming out if a JD baler i could get 21-22 little bales out of a 336 jd baler!

Would it be feasible to raise the pick up on the baler to take about the top half the downed grass, then loop back with lowered pick, to scoop up the remainder saving the clutch a bit?

Sometimes I think if it wasn't for all the horse farmers that love to pay extra for low quality horse hay, We really wouldn't need square balers.

If selling by bale e sure to check weights they are probably heavier
