Boeing 737 800 Home Cockpit Simulator #20 - Master Caution System (MCS)

Tutorial on how to Install the Master caution, Fire Warning and SixPack on a 737 800 Home Cockpit.
All 3 items are from Fly Engravity and are all connected to the CPFlight Master card.

The Erica's upper lower and captains side and first officer side I've ordered my mip and trying to get the monitors but wanted to make sure I get the size that fits

+gary self the captain and FO are 2 old 17 inch monitors I got from work with wide ratio. The upper eicas is 12 inch and the lower is 10 inch, both come from China the quality is not grate but they do the job.

Hi. Great video tutorial ! I purchased FlyEngravity Master and Fire Warning in a private sale and they came with no documentation so I have no idea what the pinout connections are. I want to interface using Prosim and Pokeys 57E so the CP Flight connections are of no use to me. Hope you can help me to label the 6 pins on the back of each warning switch. Thanks. Ed B.

If you go to the flyengravity website, make a quick account, than go to downloads and manuals, there you will find the instructions. I am not home this week, I am not able to check on the cockpit.

@@737ngxsim Thanks for responding. I did download their manuals but information on the two switches was't very helpful and it seems nobody on that forum likes to reply. I'm pretty sure I have them figured out now. 4 pin terminals for the switch. I can trial and error that. The other 2 terminals by themselves for the Led.

I took my measures from this site, be careful to make sure you adjust them to your cockpit, I had to make mine a little higher because I made a mistake when I built the MIP stand. www.flightdeck737.be/en/hardware/cdu-2/cdu-bay/

Hi, how do you connect the Master Caution and Fire warn to the Mip Board? Six pins on the backside, but which one is for what? Can't find any manual on the Fly Engravity page?! Thanks 😉

The instructions can be found on cpflight site, download the cp board document, it will be all there.

737ngxsim i do not mean where i have to plug in the wires to the board! I will know on which pin on the switch (master caution/ or fire warn) i have to connect the wires! There are six pins on it! Which one is for the ground, led and so on! Can't find any information in the internet?! Thank you😂

I have tried to look at the back of the cockpit, but without actually removing it completely out, I am unable to see which pin I connected. I remember that I only used 4 pins, for the push and release function, you need to use a multi meter to test, for the rest I think I just kept testing directly on the cockpit but without mounting them to the MIP, one it worked, I than fixed it.

yes, the only thing not connected to the cpflight card are the dimmers for the luminosity of the monitors.

+737ngxsim yes I watched the video of the dimmers what do u call them dimmers us used are they just any led dimmers u can buy or do u have to get a certain type and thanks again for answering my question really appreciate u taking the time as u can imagine I'm really looking forward to getting started

What parts of the cockpit you want the dimension for? I do not have a design for everything so would take a long time to measure it all.

Hi the cockpit is 2,10M long and 2M wide at the back. The height I haven't decided yet, I am long way from being ready to build the top.

+play_ Simulations it uses USB. That is the cpflight motherboard to connect also the other modules
