@@julienbeaudry-tardif7982 even if the Canucks lose they took the supposed to be cup favourites to 7 games with a 3rd string goalie, and either way this season has been a major success for the Canucks who everyone thought weren't even gonna make the playoffs or maybe just squeak in with a wildcard spot but they won the division and won a series

I'm worried, not only of winning the game, but being a banged up team facing a rested Dallas Stars. Regardless of who wins. I think Dallas will eat them for breakfast. Even if the Canucks are this resilient. Dallas would be a massive challenge.

Injuries play a huge part in the playoffs. Dallas lost Miro Heiskanen for a game last year and got their butts kicked. Once he returned they were magically better again. Who you lose definitely matters.

True, but it's still NHL hockey. I don't think the odds get any better than 80% for any team, even in the regular season with the bottom-dwellers around. Even without pure luck (which is a huge factor in hockey), any team has a significant chance of winning.

Honestly if oilers still lose I wouldn’t mind, if demko and boeser come back in the next week or two and canucks beat oilers it would be fun to see the canucks vs dallas, honestly with demko and canucks in their prime for this season they would have more chance to win the cup for canada than the oilers. @@brianhobaugh as a pens fan this feels like 2022 for penguins when they were winning vs rangers and then they lost crosby and they already lost their two goalies which gave a lot confidence to rangers. We’ll see if oilers get more confident with canucks losing boeser.

The Canucks can't catch a break man. It's such a shame to see them pull so far and two of their most important players are now on the sidelines with Demko still out. I hope he bounces back well. After a rough few years Boeser finally clicked and we got to see his actual potential. If they lose tonight, this will forever be a season left on a giant "what if" and that would be a terrible way to finish a remarkable bounce back year. Hope they dig deep and pull it off for Brock.

THG, I’m a little surprised at your lack of confidence in Silovs?!? In the last series’ elimination game he tossed a shutout. He had a rough game 6, but hopefully he has reset and puts up another solid game. If nothing else, it seems your backup to Demko is sorted for the foreseeable future. After that loss in game 6, I did not have high hopes of the Canucks winning game 7 and with this Boeser news, I think that's probably the last nail in the coffin for the Canucks. Was I pissed off with how that loss went down in game 6? Hell yes. But now with this news, I've accepted the reality of it and I'll be pretty calm watching game 7. They played well for most of the season and nobody expected them to get into the playoffs, let alone the 2nd round. I'm proud of the team for what they managed to achieve and I hope management make some good moves in the offseason to make the team a little stronger for next season. Overall EDM had a pretty easy time against VAN playing against a 3rd string goalie, an underperforming Pettersson and some really lucky bounces of Cole. It won't be this easy next round against Dallas.

Oilers fan here. I am concerned about Petey. Any fool can recognize that he is an elite performance athlete. He has not shown it so far but clearly he can. I feel that this game 7 and if he is able to perform he will. He is an unknown that could be a major factor in the game..I hope that the Oiler's coaching group has brought some focus to the team on potential problems becuz I do believe that if Petey has it in him to perform he will be a problem.
