I bought the Bogasing M4 after returning the Oontz 3 and I’m blown away at how much better the M4 is. I’m so glad I found this channel or I’d be stuck with that Oontz 3 thinking small speakers just can’t sound that good at a lower price. The M4 is a steal for $60. Thanks again! 👍🏽

Hey Alan, thanks to you I got my soundcore motion+ and I've never been so happy with a product before. I don’t know maybe the reason why I am used to it now. Emberton sounds the best for me. The others are sounding straight up muffled and flat to my ear. That width or I don’t know soundstage maybe I should say is awesome that reverb yeah that echo is impressing me more than the bass and how strong it’s emphasized on a speaker. W king sounds the worst to me and the other one is distorted. I am not trying to be a fan boy here it’s just my reality. As you said some people don’t care about the bass and I think I’m one of them. I completely stopped using my charge 3. Yet again I use my Bluetooth speakers in my bachelor unit :) I understand why emberton is just not appealing to everyone.

we all have different tastes so anything goes. Although harman think 90% of people can be labelled the same 🤪 emberton has a place for its size and clarity if that is your main requirement. also a lot depends on what music you listen to. I just think if you like the emberton then get the stockwell 2 😁

for me super bass mode over 50% is my preference, but you have the choice 👍

I may have to try that bogasing speaker at some point. Its not perfect but it has some interesting features like the aux in and card reader while sounding better than most at its price. It also looks like a good travel option that could take a few bumps. I did want to ask if you have had any battery issues, though. There are a significant number of reviews on Amazon complaining about a much shorter playtime than the 24 hours advertised (like less than half of that) regardless of volume. Could be they just got a bad unit. What are you averaging? Thank you for another great review, though! 😁👍👏

im not testing battery any more, so many variables and its so misunderstood its not worth the time. i just go by by battery capacity. if it goes loud it will have less life, if iit has good bass it will have less battery life. if they do the sony thing of reducing volume as battery drains it will have more battery life. but they all use the same battery tech, no speaker does magic things outside of battery management. it has a decent specked battery but 24 hours? its just a nice headline because its exactly a day. at what volume and with what tracks and gapless? untill we get a standardised test for battery life its meaningless. yes some speakers drain when they shouldnt like the denon 250 but all things being equal battery life is a marketing thing.

I think this was a great video! I own the bogassing speaker and that is my bedroom speaker it is perfect It sounds amazing in the bedroom. Now I also own w King d9 and d10. Outdoor speakers or beach speakers I call them. I really wanted to see the comparison against that Marshall. This is a relevant video! The M4 is a champion speaker. Believe me I have returned a lot of speakers to Amazon and I am keeping the m4!

yup those are always an option but some people will be on a mega tight budget and the m4 will be cheaper is USA anyway.

Great comparison, I think Bogasing and W-King sound the best. I like a lot the W-King it has better bass to my ears and sounds more real and natural, as I work mixing in my home studio I like to hear the sound as was recorded in the studio without accentuated frequencies 😌 Thanks Alan for your extraordinary work, best regards from Ecuador

D8 just doesn’t seem to impressive to me (could be wrong, I’m just projecting 😂) and the bright sound signature, and lack of Bass on the Emberton is no bueno for me.

Hey Alan, I bought the M4 a couple of months ago and returned it within a week because the battery was draining overnight with the power turned off. The speaker had great sound, but It literally went from 90% to 40% overnight with the power off. Have you heard of any other people having that problem? BTW I own a Tribit Xsound Go, and love that little speaker!

The bogasing M4 is 94 bucks in Canada 💰 . Have you reviewed the new Anker soundcore 3 yet? It's tiny but it's using the same drivers that's in the motion boom. The titanium drivers might be amazing in a smaller package as well.

I would say get the Tribit MaxSound Plus. It’s like a cross between the Soundcore 3 and the Soundcore Boost, meaning it has the best of both, and it’s cheaper… Unless, of course, you’re anchored to Anker products 😂

M.Emberton cannot keep up with them naturally...Wking mini is just ok comparing M4... Superbass mode is done for my kind of people who likes low to mid level volume listener and also has fuller bass... I bought M4 and sent it to my doughter :D

I just got a pair of d8 mini however they both have a different set of buttons. 1 has 4 hardly seeable black buttons the other has a red on off button and an extra button at the end. Can't pair the tossing things up either anyone got a clue? As in old model new model etc. Cheers
