I'll dig up a picture of a broken bogie. Loggers will brake anything 😃. Timberpro is built about 25 miles from me.

Those tracks wear well. Used a lot in this area on wagons. And your guess is right Wade, adjustment is just pull a bar out as needed.
@RJM10115 жыл бұрын
They wear more when used dry for steep ground. Used them a lot on OSA, TBM and Logset forwarders in the UK the make I used was Clark made in Scotland.

Can't even have a nice little family field trip without it bringing up near death experience memories for Stevey! I am just glad he didn't have to video him packing you out after your slip! lol In this select timber gig...Looks to me like leaving some timber to rot and fertilize the ground again for next generation of trees. Would be better for the woods then taking every last stick out. Any thoughts??? Great vidga as always Wade! Spoil them Mommas tomorrow!

I know with the farm equipment around here the dealers bring out demo units for them to try out before buying. Does Tiger Cat have such a program? Heck...They should send you every new prototype just to see where the weak points are before manufacturing. Wade will find em. Guaranteed!!

Great tour. But what about Dealer Support ? Ohio is quite a drive.
@waynetharp6 жыл бұрын
VideosByAl I have ordered alot of parts out of Ohio over the years (not for a Tiger Cat). But if ordered by 4 p.m. I could have them by 9 a.m. the next morning in Indiana without paying any over night fees. I would just let the drivers work while I slept and saved fuel. It is just a matter of parts being available and in stock. IMO
@VideosByAl6 жыл бұрын
That is good information. I’m sure Wade will keep that in mind.

Those tracks are awsome only wonder how they eould hold up hear New england with all are small pointy rocks i can picture with right ground and carfull operator be awsome but i can pocture them being your biggest regret u ever put on a skider one bent up and jamed up out where no one can get to it.when i worked on power liners running skider bucket the bogie skider would of ben so much better we use to half to watch envirment ruts and damage id spend weeks in spring racking ruts we would always bee in area where the skider is a its top peak of capability where if you push a little farther youll flip always border line and you couldent just flip a skider and roll it back up with a $140,000 70' man lift on back you flip you never work in bisness again you career is ruined in one mistake and it was your call but they would not like if you couldent do it

Are they balanced or unbalanced bogies
@LoggerWade6 жыл бұрын
david cuddy I’ll play your silly games... are they balanced?? Lol
@MichaelJBerg6 жыл бұрын
Usually not balanced. Deere has that option as does Ponsse etc. Expensive option.
@MichaelJBerg6 жыл бұрын
Logger Wade balanced bogies have an extra set of gears inside the bogie bearing so as you power up a hill for instance the natural tendency is for the bogie to come up. A balanced bogie puts down pressure on the tire to keep contact with ground.
@LoggerWade6 жыл бұрын
Michael J Berg oh I see I was figuring he was tormenting me he has a history of that sorta thing
@davidcuddy55526 жыл бұрын
Ahh wade , i love you to much to torture you.😚 They are the norm over here. With the weight of such a machine is imagine it's important to not have them dig into the ground, but then I see the narrow wheel size and climbing tracks and I'm like "WHAAAATTT" ...IM SO CONFUSED..!! I need to book a holidays and you guys need to school me and teach me the way of the American logger.

tghe onley thing ive ever disagreed with u on a dual arch will destroy a single up down or around the hill period i dont know about your terrian but in black mt. in south easrern,ky aka harlan county a single arch grapple capacity isnr enough it doesnt lift its trip high enough in dips and most impt. pujjing up hill u cant lower your top arch to keep weight on front
