Holy cow, i'm absolutely blown away. I like all the sounds coming from this thing.

This amp is Van Halen in a box. I've never heard the brown sound recreated so well.

thanks for posting. How would you compare the sound with full size XTC. Is the core of the sound identical.

Amazing playing and great demo, as always. Do you happen to know if this amp has a serial or parallel loop, or switchable? I'm planning to use it with the 4 cable method, and a serial would be ideal. Thanks in advance!

I'm also wondering that. They are super similar feature and tone wise.

Also struggling with this decision myself, also considering the Bad Cat Lynx-X

@@IanVase I have had the Lynx x for about a year and a half now. It is an awesome amp!! The clean channel is unreal and the red channel breathes fire but has all of the articulation.

I've had my 3534 for about 2 months and the cleans sound really nice and takes pedals well. I can't seem to get a good sound out of either the blue or red channels. They sound very flat and muddy. I can't seem to dail it out no matter what I try. I've got a 89 Fender Blackie and a Heritage H150. The Heritage sounds a little better but not by much. And hitting the boost also helps....some. Very odd considering I have this cheap old Digitech Hardwire SC2 Distortion pedal that sounds fantastic through the green, clean channel. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

I assume you've played around with the excursion settings and the B1/B2 eq?

My opinion of the amp is exact opposite of yours. I hate the clean channel but love blue and red. Funny.

@@stevemineer2857 I ended up selling mine. Just don't think it was what I was looking for. I'd still like to try the Original Ecstacy one day. It's definitely on my bucket list.
@stevemineer28573 жыл бұрын
@@Bordeaux0929 I’m keeping mine for now. I have to goose the green channel with a clean drive, eq, comp, or whatever it takes to get it usable to me. If I don’t, it sounds like I’m playing a banjo in my IEMs when playing live. I’ve never played a full size Ecstasy but from what I hear a lot of guys prefer the small one. I also have a Friedman JJ Jr that seems more suitable for my band. I’ve never had so many compliments on my sound and the clean is much better. I do admit the blue and red channels sound like a wet blanket is on the speaker compared to the JJ.

While the tones sound good, you dialee it all to sound like you just turned down the volume knob on the guitar instead of showing how diverse it can be.

Definitely I am not against irs and love them however I hear a blanket over the sound in all videos made by torpedo on youtube. But sure I need to check out your irs!

@@freakcomposer The Torpedo stuff is not just plug and play. You have to tweak around and find the right cab/speakers/mic's and mic placement to really compliment what amp you're running into it. I've got a CabM+ and a CaptorX and I love them both but definitely have had to setup specific presets based on which amp I'm sending to it and that takes time.. something lots of reviewers aren't going to do.
