Both sound incredible, I wouldn't know which to choose Ubershall has that low mid girth and grunt VHT is super tight, dry and has clarity. Both are 10/10

I don’t even know what you can hear on a video recorded through some toilet, on a camera microphone that constantly jerks its volume because of noise reduction. And also with decent pauses between different amplifiers

I’ve bought the vht deliverance 120 back and it is still one of my favorites. I haven’t found the bogner yet but I’m still seeing if I can retrieve it back 😢

I must've watched this 1,000 times. Love these tones. I just made a payment on the Rev. 2. Have wanted this amp for years!!! I can't remember your forum name but I'll be posting my NGD soon on Rig-Talk. There was a D120 for a lot cheaper but these Rev. 2's are hard to come by so I had to pick that one instead. The D120 sounds like no slouch though and was my 2nd choice.

take it with grain of salt. Both are amazingly good amps & do the job well . taking that as meaning for tools. What tools do you need ... but the hammer mostly is the cab. it’s most of the sound. to my experience some amps do better with some cabs or speakers . & sound shite compared . in the same sentence here. 1 cab 2 amps. i would say - the best mach . would be more fair title. vht for me is the winner...

The bogner sounds little more distortion than a Marshall sounds good. The VHT sounds good I'll pick the one that sounds hollow less or no treble has more surface string vibration.
@davidlawson77864 жыл бұрын
Both Amos are very cool, just depends on what you like? The Bogner is probably more versatile than that VHT amp, it’s really hard to hear certain characteristics through a KZbin video to be fair. At the end of the day it’s like comparing apples to oranges. Play them both with an ABY box or slave them together for a truly killer/unique tone. Very cool amps

Yes the jensen 90's. they are very tight in a 4x12, didn't like them in a 2x12 (swapped for a v30/gt1275 combination)

This is not really a good comparison video. The VHT is dialed in too dark, especially the Presence. That control doesn't wake the amp up until about 2 o'clock at least. No wonder the VHT sounds darker and less exciting than the Bogner. The Bogner's Presence is cranked and the VHT's Presence is set to make the amp sound dull and distant.

I don't even know what you can hear on a video recorded through some toilet, on a camera microphone that constantly jerks the volume because of the noise suppressor. And also with decent pauses between different amplifiers if you need to hear something, you need to do it like lasse lammert reapming
@shanesiegle172710 жыл бұрын
Both sound great but I don't hear any more clarity at all from the Bogner just a lot more low mids and low end in general. To my ears the VHT/Fryette acutally has more clarity.
@michielvanes824410 жыл бұрын
I found both clear but very different, the bogner is uber saggy and the VHT is more dry but both have a very distrinct professional sound. I also have a peavey 5150 which is hot biassed and has good preamps but does not sound 3-d/fat sounding as these 2. The combination of the Bogner and the VHT would be my dream rig for a studio album.
@michielvanes824410 жыл бұрын
Also don't forget the iPhone has a limiter on loud sounds which really cuts down the original sound.
@shanesiegle172710 жыл бұрын
I agree with your assessment 100%. Bogners sound killer and are the polar opposite of Fryette stuff. Nice to have both I would imagine :) I totally get that anything on KZbin isn't 100% like being in the room but to me your recording is pretty accurate as far as how these sound in person as I have played both.

+shane siegle UltraLead is opposite to Bogner, Deliverance is somewhere between UL and Messa - not as dry as Ultralead and not as meaty as Uber.

He didn’t have his Guitar plugged in yet. As long as no external source is hitting the amp, you can safely take out a speaker Jack to switch to a different cabinet. I just turn down the volume knob on my guitar and switch speakers without turning off the amp all the time. The second you inject a signal, that’s when you run into trouble

Sorry but you guys are wrong. To cause damage you need the amp on, the amp master turned up with a signal going thru, and have the speaker unplugged. All at the same time. If you do this you risk causing Inductive flyback witch could short the winding in the out put transformer or short elements within a power tube or arc the power tube socket pins just to name a few consequences. He did nothing wrong here.
