Some of the most popular games of all time are political, they’re just too stupid to see it. Even the ones with “manly men.” Games have always had queer characters too; video gaming was one of the first industries that featured LGBT+ characters. The first gay marriage in a video game was Fallout 2, which came out in 1998! And Fallout is a series that has been plagued by people like this guy missing the point since the very beginning. Also notice how he picks and chooses things as well. Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most successful games of all time. Every single major character in the main cast of that game (the origin party members) are LGBT+, not even in just a playersexual kind of way. These people live in an alternate reality where they choose what they see and don’t see, and only pay attention to things that fit their narratives.

I think it's partly satire, but most of it is unhinged. Another comment just because. He says that only straight men play games which isnt completely true but there still is more men playing games then women but he says that playing games is a strictly male activity which isnt true like at all. Also if you are a company looking at your current demographic of white men which takes up like 50% of the white population which of course a game company wants to tap into the other 50% which are women or lgbtq. This example that i bring up also fails to include that a lot of the worlds population isnt white so of course they want people other then white men because thats like 20% or less of the global population. And companies would ideally want to get 100% if people to play games.
