In a toe-to-toe battle, Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) took home a unanimous decision over Brian Mendoza (22-4, 16 KOs) to win the Interim WBC Super Welterweight Title. Bohachuk dominated many of the early frames before Mendoza rallied in the last third of the fight. After several explosive exchanges in the final round, Bohachuk took home the decision by scores of 118-110 and 117-111 twice.

Look at Mendoza's chin when they're calling out the scorecards. You both must've missed it. LoL. This is what I don't understand, why is no-one telling crawfish or spent to fight this guy and let Timdawg have his rematch. Who tf is crawfish to want a fight with fundora just to become a 3 division chump and then retire if he has no intention on fighting the cream of the division? I can understand spent wanting to fight fundora to set up the rematch crawfish wouldn't give him at 154. Spent should just wait until the rematch is done rather than want to fight fundora.. To me it kind of makes it that hes chicken of facing Timdawg and wants the easier fight. Crawfish can fight bohachuk and wait for the winner of spence vs Timdawg.

Pirog was slicker and relied more on head movement on the inside, while Bohachuk maintains a high guard. I will say that the sequence of combinations, such as jab, cross, hook, and uppercut, are quite similar.

Bohachuk is relentless and has the power. Mendoza has a super chin but doesn't jab enough or keep his guard up, and depends on landing the big shot. Outclassed here, a fight between Tszyu and Bohachuk would be interesting, not sure Tim would hold up. A shame he ran into that elbow, might have turned out different but he's a warrior.

Bohachuk and Tim Tszyu are the best and most entertaining fighters in 154. Bohachuk will beat Fundora, Tszyu would have whooped Fundora. If i was Tim I would fight anyone and everyone before stepping in there with Bohachuk. Unless he is mandated to fight him the risk to reward is too high. Tim should rematch Fundora and beat him then go on to fight Spence and beat him then Crawford win or lose Tim will still be respected. Then after those fights the deadliest two in the division Bohachuk and Tszyu should get it on.
