I won the cheiftain Mk6 and its easily one of the best heavies in the game. 7 sec reload and 5.5 sec fast reload with a .31 dispersion and that 350mm of turret armor is insane.

I'm a proud owner of a Pz II J and it's the only teir 3 tank I ever drive in randoms. My favorite moment I've had is meeting another Pz II J in battle and us driving past each other basically saying "it's not worth it" yet the less than 20$ I spent on the tank is worth it. it came with 360 days of prem and the 100+ bucks that cost but I didn't care for it.

I have met Panzer II J's in random battles.... have not noticed any problems with fighting them. The two primary tanks I fight in at tier 3 are the Panzer II G carrying the 3cm MK103, which has 95mm of penetration with standard AP ammo (thickest it gets on the J is 80mm, and I tend to aim for the chassis of the tank rather than the turret) and the Valentine, carrying the final gun you can get for it, the mark 5 (early) 6 pounder. Penetration with standard AP ammo 75 mm (yes that is 3mm less than the 2 pounder, but that is hardly worth noting, and the alpha damage is about a third less for the 2 pounder). So yes, the turret from the front is invulnerable to my 6 pounder, but that chassis and back of turret sure as heck ain't. I would actually like if they allowed you to upgrade the gun on the II J to a single shot 3cm gun, with it basically being a single shot MK103. Why? Because not being able to pen your own tank with your gun shouldn't be a thing. And this is coming from someone who is never going to buy the dang thing.

When I had to play tier 1 with them as they were just starting out (yes, HAD to, wargaming's tutorial system is utter dog shit, the boys knew almost nothing), we ran into a player who had 9000 games in a loltraktor. Hell, there is even a particular clan that has a stated goal of playing low tiers to humiliate new players. One guy has 30 THOUSAND games in a T67, and 17 THOUSAND in a LeFH...

Try taking the Pz II J out against tier 4s. It really isn't a seal clubber against things like a Marder or a Matilda - it is the one getting seal clubbed in that scenario. It's great at smashing up tier 3 and 2 - but is a very limited vehicle overall.

I remember the pzJ when I played WoT. Once I learned of its OP capabilities I decided I had two options if it ever popped up on the opposite team: 1) engage emmediate self-destruction protocol by means of; a) any other enemy tank that is not a PzJ, b) high fall, c) water 2) if in an arty, target PzJ only...if it can pen that is, otherwise go to option 1. I don't know how many times I have to say this - the Pz IIJ is definitely broken, but it is NOT overpowered. It can only see tier 4s at the most, admittedly, but it often does see them, and that means meeting Hetzers, Pz B2 740(f)s, and worst of all, Matildas. Matildas WRECK Pz IIJs. The only reason Matildas don't kill this tank even faster than they do is that they can't see the screen for laughing when they meet one. Even tier 3s with decent HE rounds will kill a Pz IIJ if they get to shoot at it for long enough, and its gun is just so utterly feeble that they often do. It's still fun though, as long as you aren't attached to the credits it costs to run one...

The weakest part of the pz2j now is the angled plate if your standing against it you know no space between your tank and the pz2j. Its still 44mm thick but he would of had a 50/50 chance to dmg the enemy pz2j

I believe you do have about a 30% to pen if you hit the sides, above the tracks in CQB (with APCR). This isnt amazing with the pewpew shooter but its better than 0 damage (assuming one doesnt have the high ground)

Oh Jingles Jingles Jingles....the front of the T110E5 tumor is only 210mm thick and around 230mm effective. WG nerfed the tumor 6 or 7 years ago. Even when using it's full 8 degrees of depression the effective thickness is only around 260mm. The tumor is still the bane of every T110E5 driver ever.

TBH, Pz.II j is no longer exactly as invulnerable as it used to be... For example, a couple of years ago, if I remember correctly, there was some event and some Russian T-29 at tier 3 was given then. Its HE shell can cause some dmg to Pz.II j. But its HEAT (gold) shell will definitely penetrate it and do a lot of damage. I remember killing one II j in this way, with this tank, most likely to the driver's rage. Of course, you need to have this tank, have gold ready and to know what you are up against. There may be some other tanks that are capable of damaging it. And artillery, of course.

on the xbox version of WoT the Pz II J can be got when you run out of xbox live gold and you play the xbox WoT trial, but the tank can see tier 4 tanks and so even with gold you will always be running into tanks you simply can't penetrate because they are 1 tier higher then you. it sucks. but a good tier 3 to combat the Pz II J is the T127, especially if you have gold in that thank, the Pz II J can't pen you but you can pen it

The Pz II J is not as dominate as you describe. There are quite a few tier 3 tanks that just load up gold and shoot right through the front of it as though it has no armour. It is a good tank to pad win 8 occasionally, but usually it just loses a a huge amount of credits and gets stuck in tier 4 games too often. Definitely not worth buying!!!

the first battle was a massive display of incompetence by both pz 2 j drivers lmaooo if they actually even ever looked at the armor model of the tank, they would know that theres no hope of ever penning it with its own gold rounds so then you just stick to blowing off tracks for capture circle resets. but this idiot spent a shitton of credits wasting ammo into a weakspot that hasnt existed for 8+ years.... he may have only lost like 40k - 60k if he didnt do that
