It wasn't the Ipiranga that threw that last match. It was whatever red ship that was in the A cap at 19:25. The last remaining green cap, he stopped the green team gaining points at 898. With 30 seconds left he leaves the cap, stops the flip, and lets the green team get 8 more points in 30 seconds. If he had stayed in the cap even a couple more seconds, the red team would have won. That was a throw for sure.

As a Californian, I need to clarify the snow thing. Yes, it does snow here, but only in the mountains; I can drive about 10 miles from my house in the eastern part of LA County and find snow; granted, it's not much because that's reserved for the Sierra Nevada mountains on the eastern edge of the state.Oh and it did snow in LA once back in the 1940s.

My favorite game of one upsmanship (black catting) happened at an airport. There was a small single engine light aircraft that called up the tower asking for a ground speed check. The tower answered. Then somebody in a twin piston engine place called up right after asking the same thing (because the twin engine is going to be faster). Then a lear jet called in right after asking for a speed check. Well, while all of this was going on, an SR-71 Black Bird was cruising overhead listening in. They then called up for a ground speed check, and when the tower replied back, the pilots confessed that their instruments had them going a tad bit faster than that. The tower then replied "well you guys would know!" And that ended up all the other pilots trying to one up each other.

@olanordmann274313 сағат бұрын
Norwegian moved 20 degrees south and managed to find a place with colder winters :P -17C is the coldest I have ever experienced. I worked outside in -17C and horizontal snowfall, many a hot cocoa was drunk that day. Luckily, the sea is quite jealous of its Norwegians. Give it some time and the sea will look for its lost Norwegians and bring its warmth to you. I hope you have mountains so you have somewhere to live once the sea arrives.
