love this Wendy, I did not know I could use a crimp bead on stretch cord. Learned something new.

I learn something new I each of the videos you. I never would have thought you could use chain in a stretchy bracelet. And yes I would never thought to us a crimp.

Wendy, have you thought about using a collapsible needle when stringing elastic cord? The eye will accommodate the thickness of the cord, but will collapse to fit smaller hole beads. Love that design, a lot more interesting than just a one-strand elastic bracelet. Thank you!

I have used one in the past. I think I have some here somewhere. I need to dig them out! Thanks for reminding me of them!

Thank you for naming that, my poor old brain was struggling to remember the name of that piece. And I love the bracelet set as well--fascinating to watch you work through the process!

I adore these and your way of making them. I always seem to have a hard time finding the list that's needed on videos. I was hoping to see the specific type sz of stretch magic that you're using. Mine doesn't seem to look like yours.

Love the way you work. I like working that way too. Its more freestyle to me. I have wondered about using crimp beads on stretch bracelets but was never brave enough to try it...Now I will. Loved the background music 😉. Very soothing.

Great beads. I love the balance. I have had better success by using “eye” pins to hook the cord and then put the pin thru the conical bead caps. No fussing with crimp beads. I also put a dab of E6000 on the eye pin/cord knot to secure. We all so love your positive energy & spunk.

They are so pretty! I love the colors and the beads you chose. It never fails. When I'm trying to attach the ear wires or the posts, I always get them backwards the first time. Could be cuz I'm dyslexic? So frustrating. The entire video, I was talking right along with you. You: "Let's see. Should I put this this way?" Me:"Yes!" You: "I don't know if I should do that or this." Me: "Do that!" Lol! I don't know if other people do that or if I'm just a weirdo. Anyway, I love these! 🤗💕

Continued:then tie a tailors Knott then finish it.
@thisbeadedlife4 жыл бұрын
I was knotting it because I was doubling it to make two strands to make it stronger. I needed to be able to pull it through the beads and pull hard to make sure it was taut. f I used a bead stopper or tape, I woudnt be able to pull as hard as I wanted to . I hope ths makes sense lol

You scar me when you trim the eye pins. I’m afraid that wire that flies off is going to get you in your eye. Try putting your index finger of your right hand over the wire to keep it from flying. I love the bracelet especially the color and that focal is a real beauty. Thanks for posting. I enjoy you videos.

I like your work, but I think you should be more organized with what you are doing
@thisbeadedlife4 жыл бұрын
How so?
@srvntlilly4 жыл бұрын
Patti Cakes This is the way most creative people work. They sit down with one thing in mind, and end with something completely different and better than their original idea. Being too organized doesn't allow your creativity to flow. It becomes too rigid and mechanical.

This is why we LOVE and ADORE Wendy. She is just like us and not edited to the hilt. , just saying this is why she is our BFF of the beading world ♡

Wendy just shows shes like all of us. We all are like this. The difference she has guts to do this in a video for the world to see
@thisbeadedlife4 жыл бұрын
That is just the way I create. It's not organized or perfect but usually something nice comes out of it. I don't now, and will never edit my videos. I feel that it is important to show that NONE of us are perfect, we all mess up and one of us have the organization down to a science. There are plenty of KZbinrs out there with perfect, edited videos and no mistakes. That is not what my channel is all about. If that's what you are looking for, you won't find it here 😀
