Bowled over by this titan of a piece. Yet more evidence that time spent investigating Martinu's music is time well spent.

I just discovered him via the violin concerto 2 - but he's one of the Czeck Fab Four - along Dvorak, Smetana, Janacek.

Překrásný violončelový koncert od Bohuslava Martinů. Vroucí, hravý a krásný! I wish everyone to discovere huge greatness a warm deepness of beauty of works from Bohuslav Martinu. Several times helped me to rise. Several times made me happy. Several times made me cry. Jakub Hrusa grows up and Jiri Barta is great cello player! I wish them lots of success!
