I head to camp to boil all weekend. I also try working between the rain drops to get a new spot cleared for another camper.

Yanking those saplings out like that is effective… but tedious! However, it makes a great filler task while you are working on a project. This is a much better set up… from my perspective. I would hate to see your tablesaw get a sap shower. •grin• I’d love to smell boiling sap. We don’t have many hard maples here. Our temps go above and below freezing all winter. The trees don’t do well in our summer droughts. But, the smell of steaming maple syrup at IHOP tells me that I’d love it! Glad to see you made progress… keep on boiling!!!

Thanks Dave. Next video will be the final boil. Finally. lol Then we'll be shifting gears to building the deck under the pavilion. The boiling sap smells amazing! You would definitely love it.

If you had my luck that tractor would have been buried to the frame first try pulling on saplings 😂😂 because of you I’m not researching tree tapping and sap boiling. 😅 I’ll be blaming you when my wife finds out

Haha I quit while I was ahead! Boiling isn't for everyone, just the easily amused. 😂
