👍👍👍. This kidding season should be exciting. Adding Megawatt is definitely a great investment. Yep all goats are different but having a good trained eye and knowing your bloodline is what makes you top quality businessmen. And the care you put into feed and land too. I love these chats and you sharing your knowledge always reinvesting in the herd. And you’re not afraid to learn something new. You have a name well known and it’s only going to get better. I’m sure excited to follow you wishing I could have a do over having my farm again and maybe doing business with y’all. Josh, you bucks are handsome for sure but where are the Kiko goats that your farm name is? I only hear you talk about New Zealand's are they a sub breed of Kiko? I don't raise goats so no idea.

I have New Zealand’s purebreds & commercial they are all Kikos. New Zealand are the original imported gentics that came into the USA in the 90’s Thanks for watching

I have a question concerning meat goats. Does bread matter when it to the price they pay per pound? I am looking to start a herd of boer goats but am wondering if Kiko, Spanish, or Khalahari are priced the same? Thanks in advance for any information.

Breed don’t matter it’s the grade of the goats. #1 grade brings the most #2 brings less and #3 grade brings the least. Red heads are what is sold the most around here at the sale barns and they typically bring the most but our Kikos are bringing #1 grades at the slaughter house

He was expensive. He is a proven sire & has made a huge difference in our farm from one breeding can’t wait to show off his kid crop from this yr.

When you say parasite resistant , how often do you need to worm the kikos?

We only worm as needed then after we worm one if that goat continually needs worming we will cull her from our herd. Thanks for watching

It could wear the nannies down to breed 3 times in 2 yrs. I breed in August kid in January wean in April & let the nannies rest til the late summer early fall for breeding

We primarily feed to get them get does ready for breeding. We do supplement feed in the winter months also. We do feed our bucklings we process for meat too. Thanks for watching
