Best piece of advice I got during my ojt time other then blocking correctly is time management, block your train correctly and you spend less time doing useless moves. Something I still preach to all the new hires I train.

Thanks for sharing! A well planned blocking of your train makes the day much easier!

Another awesome video! Keep up the good work! Question: How do box car, hopper cars, tanker car owners get paid to use the cars. Like, for instance, a TTX, or even BNSF labeled cars can be seen on a UP train, do the owners get paid? Or is it just as huge pool of cars to be used by any rail road? Look forward to more videos!

I don’t feel like I have a good answer at the moment. I’m going to have to research to get an up to date informed answer. Thanks a lot as well!

Do you have any idea how many times these old Geeps can be refurbished?
@pacificrailproductions5281 Жыл бұрын
Every engine is different. Run different, different stresses, tasks and climates. Some have much longer lives than others. But with good maintenance, they should last 70+ years.

@@pacificrailproductions5281 you'll see them always going to Wilder during packing season Usually late September through late March to serve the onion sheds. During the late spring summer trips to Wilder are on a as needed basis to deliver fertilizer.

Oh they usually don’t know me. I don’t have any shirts with the channel name…hmm that sounds fun!

It would be like walking advertising but standing next to the tracks. How many train people that actually work on trains. And watch all these channels. I watch 4 .One is the riding model trains in Oregon . Great work !
