@Cody....If you happen to visit Dalaguete to scale Osmena Peak anytime soon with Isai, look for their bibingka as well. For me, Dalaguete makes the yummiest bibingka I ever tasted in my life. It's easy to get bibingka as they're displayed next to 7-11 and habal-habal terminal to Mantalongon. Yes, if Barili has a barangay called Mantalongon, Dalaguete has a mountain barangay called Mantalongon too, which is a few minutes ride to Osmena Peak.

If you cannot swim in the waters because they're preserving the environment, what good is that for the tourists who want to.enjoy and have fun in the waters? Sight seeing doesnt attract that many action adventure tourists. Maybe history buffs who enjoy local stories about the place in a banca ride will catch their attention. lol. Maybe they can create a hut or a landing area where people can jump into the waters if they wished to maybe at the mouth of the river to the sea and have a picnic. Just a suggestion to add action to the place at the same time teaching and keeping tourists aware of environment conservation.

@@NurseTalking I believe tourist can actually swim in those waters. I was a bit curious why they didn't.

@@NurseTalking, tourists are free to swim if they want to :) I agree with you. They could add more things like cliff jumping or maybe some snorkeling tours to attract more people. Although I'd say the calm and peaceful vibe of the place is refreshing. Maybe Bojo river is for people who want to get away from crowded tourist destinations and enjoy nature in a more serene and authentic way :)

Try bibingka or simply bingka from Mandaue or bingka pinaliki sa Mambaling. It's rice cake made by grinding sweet rice in coconut milk and sugar cooked in an earthen jar and baked along the streets in a charcoal oven or locally known as "pugon". There's many flavors of bingka now where they add cheese or coconut strings (macapuno) even salted eggs as toppings. Bingkang kabog is what I like the most with its it's fine texture and sweet taste and the smell of burnt charcoal when freshly baked. Now commercially prepared bibingka mix now comes in a box and baked in the oven. They're even sold in the US at the Filipino Markets but the taste is more like of an ordinary cake. Having baked it in banana leaf seems like it's the original bibingka but they're not lol.

@Cody...You should check out Cebu Safari & Adventure Park in Carmen town, north Cebu. It's a very big zoological and botanical park in the Philippines with lots if wild animals from all over Africa, Asia, Australia, South America and the Philippines. The big cats are the stars of the park - Lions, cheetahs and tigers. The longest zipline in Asia was just opened recently spanning two big mountains over lush and verdant deep valley. There are four main restaurants spread strategically all over the park, two of which offer buffet style menu while one is fast food and one is fine dining. There's a beautiful orchid farm as well with more than 200 species of orchid. Trams are aplenty in the park to take park visitors around the park.
