as a New Zealander, I would like to say how much I love watching these guy talk about rugby. Genuinely my favorite podcast. Also, I thought Cheslin Kolbe should have won but maybe I was just judging it from the games we played against the springboks where he was phenomenal. I did watch quite a few other Springbok games where he was a standout as well.

Cheslin was incredible this season, he finished stronger than PSDT which is probably why a lot of people share your opinion. But PSDT was dominant early on and won man of the match 3 times this year, including once against the mighty All Blacks. Cheslin won one MOTM award. I wouldn't have begrudged Cheslin winning though.
