I'm 28 and watched it when I was like 13 and I was completely overwhelmed with emotions I hadn't even experienced myself :D I've remembered this story every now and then but never got back to watching or reading it. During the last few weeks, I kind of wanted to re-watch or read it to experience this rollercoaster again but I'm not quite sure whether I should since I've just come back from a rather negative time and am currently trying to get a little more positivity into my life. Still, I'll keep this in mind. The songs already give me a lot of nostalgia and I become emotional even though I probably only remember 1/4 of what actually happened :)

my most beloved girlfriend gave me a copy of Bokura Ga Ita. i watched it sometimes alone and sometimes with her. we're very happy together. we've became together since she told me that she is not happy with his boyfriend, that's why i told her to broke him up and come with me instead, and that's what happened. months later, i've found out that they're still seeing each other. sounds familiar? yes you're right, she did the same to like Nana Yamamoto did to Yano. i broke up with her and like Yano, i've suffered and it became very hard for me. years have passed but any soundtrack from Bokura Ga Ita has still a huge impact on me, specially this song because of its meaning.

i remmeber i had to stop watching bokura ga ita, maybe about 10 years ago, the series made me too emotional, and I hated watching thr struggles between all the charcaters, nwo I really want o read the manga , i hear its worth it
