Playing too low and too high has always been a problem for all trombonist. No joke. I dreaded all the time while my trombone that “DAM, not again with me playing too low and too high and that dreaded double buzzing”. Like don’t worry I’m still practicing but practice makes perfect especially when you hang a competition in March “Dam that competition ;(“.

I’m a big fan of Ravel, and also Boléro. I think every iteration of both themes should play to the strengths of the instruments being played while also being played cleanly and rather straightforwardly-except the trombone. That should be played fucking raunchy and dirty as fuck.
