BOLAVEN LOOP, LAOS (Part 2)| Captain Hook Coffee Plantation & Katu Village and Thateng Farm & Resort

It’s the second instalment of our Pakse (Bolaven) Motorbike Loop and we are spending another night at Fandee Island where we swim in the rain to cool down. It’s hot hot at this time of year in Laos!! 🥵
Next day we head to Captain Hook’s Katu village and coffee plantation to take part in his daily tour and believe us when we say you do not want to miss this if you’re doing the loop! It was a definite highlight for us, super interesting and pretty mind blowing at times.
We end day 3 of the loop in the beautiful surroundings of Thateng Farm and Resort. If you’re tired of roughing it and looking for some air con, a super comfy bed and some luxury then definitely check this place out. It may seem a bit expensive for Laos but it’s still super affordable compared to U.K. prices!
