Jackie is still hurting over Eric’s marriage to Brooke, when she and Nick learn from a letter that Massimo wrote to them that Stephanie is the actual owner of Forrester Creations. Nick informs Jackie that he is going to pursue Bridget’s love. Ridge is furious when Stephanie then hires Thorne as President of Forrester Creations. Stephanie tells Brooke there is nothing she can do to get her shares back and then fires Brooke to everyone’s shock. Eric and Stephanie fight, which prompts Stephanie to kick Eric in the groin.

Eric acts like stephanie hasn't done anything for the company and didn't work decades long side him building it. She worked on the business side and he was the artist. But stephanie was the business woman and the force behind of it.

A lot of fan of certain characters and I say it clearly those of the Logans. Have forgotten that thanks to the money from Stephanie's father, the business is exciting. Certainly, Eric, Ridge and Brooke have contributed to the success of the company. But, that was the humiliation that Stephanie had to endure in front of her father to give him the money so that she and Eric could build the business. It was again Stephanie who made her father believe in Eric and his loyalty to his daughter. It was again Stephanie who brought people in so people could see Eric's talent. Since the start of the business, Eric knew that the business belonged to Stéphanie DOUGLAS and not half to Eric. Many like Eric, Brooke, have criticized the manipulations and the lies of Stephanie. But, they are the first to have betrayed Stéphanie. And especially Eric who says he is loyal, honest and faithful. Stephanie has never denied who she was and has never denied making mistakes. She never pretended to be anyone else. Stephanie has always protected Eric from his legs in the air in front of reporters so that his reputation is not destroyed. Eric always came back to Stephanie after he was done playing the elderly man who ended up with his younger teddy bear. Brooke can say what she wants about her mom being the first to date Eric. But, Eric never went back to Beth even after. He could have, but, it shows that he never really loved Brooke's mother. Without Stephanie, Eric wouldn't be what he is and wouldn't even have a fortune or a business. It wouldn't surprise me that Stephanie let her trust Steffy later. To see in a few years

A heartbroken Beth married another guy from college. So Beth was also married, but Stephen left his family. Actually, Eric did go back to Beth. If you go back to 1987, you see Eric trying to court Beth, but Beth kept pushing him away because he was married, against all her children's advice. Stephanie knew Beth still loved Eric, found Stephen and paid him to get Beth out of the country. Eric was devastated when she left. The only reason Eric married Stephanie is because she told him she was pregnant with his child, when in fact; it was Massimo's son.

@Sara Zimmermann Yes Eric could be cruel when he was surrounded by Logans but he was always full of flowery words when he wanted Stephanie back again or when Stephanie had another man interested in her. I have to admit I did love it everytime they got back together simply because of the two actors chemistry. I actually found this scene hard to watch because he was so very cruel. In reality Stephanie should have kicked Erics butt to the kerb long ago yet obviously she still loved him!! I wish she had either married Massimo or I really liked her with Jack, Taylors father. There is no way with all this bad history that Brooke should have been with her at the end. I believe in forgiveness but really it was quite ridiculous, as if all of this bad history could just be forgotten. forgiven maybe but not forgotten. The real glory days of this show will always be from 1987 till around 2000 in my opinion and mostly thats due to the remarkable talent of Susan Flannery. She really is my favourite actress ever.

Stephanie is really strong and brave woman cuz after Eric left me the first time I wouldn't have took him back I don't care I wouldn't have cared if we had kids together or grandkids because nobody has a right to keep being hurt like that so I know how Stephanie feels I've been there with my ex-boyfriend that's why we're not together anymore and we are never get back together anymore I forgive him but I'll never forget and that's why I can never take him back all I can do is wish for his happiness and hope that he finds somebody that he can be with forever and that can deal with him because no matter even if I had feelings for him and I still love him I can't be with him because of the simple fact keep cheating on me and he cheated on me too many times and that's the reason why I can never take Jimmie back ever again because he bought too much pain into my life and I just want to be happy and in love with somebody that'll love me as much as I love them even stronger I want that kind of love with her man that nothing and no one can ever break cuz to me that's what a true relationship is not being in love and using love as some kind of weapon because love is not a weapon love is not supposed to use be used like that love is supposed to bring some people people together not further apart and that's the truth of the matter is I know my ex-boyfriend never meant to hurt me when he kept cheating on me but he did and the damage is done and it can never be fixable again because I'm not going to take him back anymore so he can keep doing the same thing to me over and over again because if I do then I'll hold relationship is built on a lie because the truth for the matter is I don't feel the same way he do about me yes I did at one point in time but I never will again and it's all because he cheated on me and men have no idea how much that kills a woman inside to be constantly cheated on so I understand where Stephanie is coming from because deep down inside all Stephanie wanted was Eric and to be important and therefore her family that's all she wanted was to build a life with Eric the one that she truly loves and truly wants to be with no matter what happened no matter what happened in the past.
