I don't get it either. Every time I get involved in an episode, they skip way ahead. Once it skipped over 20 episodes. I'm truly grateful they're here but it makes no sense why they do that.

She didn't want it to interfere with getting her kids back. Had the police known about her rape, they probably wouldn't have let her have them. But it backfired on her. When the CPS caseworker saw how freaked out she was, they thought she was still not well enough to get her kids back.
