Ashley tells Ridge about her frightening evening with Storm. Tired of Storm’s actions lately, Ridge decides to call Lt. Baker to tell him that Storm was the one who shot Stephanie. Lt. Baker chastises Ridge for withholding this evidence for so long. Ridge calls Brooke to warn her that the police are on their way to arrest Storm and that Storm will most likely be spending the rest of his life in jail. Brooke spends some quiet time with Storm and says some hurtful things to him about his recent behavior. After hearing that the police are after him, Storm concocts a plan to divert the cops and leaves a note behind.

I always wondered how Katherine got her brother Storms heart. Mystery solved, Storms character of the big protective brother is eminent. William deVry did a superb job portraying Storm Logan, the writers should’ve left his character as the big brother / protector of the family. His departure brought me to tears, especially when he was reminiscing.

The one problem with this episode is that Storm did not give a single thought to Beth. He hated his father for walking out on the family but he idolised his mother; he stepped into the father role for the whole family and did everything he could to help her for so many years. I understand this was about the four children together but for him to only think about them and not about Beth for a second was a joke, really.

Storm was clearly disturbed person, something that his sisters were unwilling to see. They were just cuddling and protecting him rather than seeing what was really going on with him. He was a walking time bomb ready to go off. Storm's death could've been prevented if his sisters would've been more forthcoming about his situation.

Storm sacrificed his own life to save Katie's. What A beautiful sacrifice of Storm so his sister Katie's life is saved. Storm gave Katie a beautiful gift. His heart which today is still beating inside of Katie.

Like the term a mother's instinct, the instinct belongs to the mother and it's irrespective of the gender of the child. If the roles were reversed then you would be correct with brother's instinct.
